I don't usually take Gryphon's side on anything... but, to be fair, he DID insert the word 'solely' in his sentence.

Mr. Obama isn't solely responsible for trouble in the Middle East, nor racial divisions in the US.

Yet he infers I said that and / or meant that simply by saying that, and yet makes no counter-argument that refutes my assertion that Obama has responsibility. Whether that be solely, or jointly with other forces at play, doesn't change the fact he does have responsibility. Yet the cliche' response to discredit my assertions.

DEFENSE FAIL.

I'M in complete agreement with your assertion. Obama's incompetence is largely responsible for most of the mess in Syria/Iraq/Libya...and so much more.

I didn't know that Obama was responsible for the invasion of Iraq. Oh, wait...

For the invasion of Iraq by ISIS?....Of course he is, silly.

ISIS came from AQ in Iraq. They are Sunni Muslims.

Getting off topic, but there's probably a lot of Sunni Muslims who would take issue with ISIS being Sunni Muslims.

Not to mention:

Which is quite true. I read that article in The Atlantic about what ISIS wants and they seem to be a group of apocalyptic lunatics.

You'll get no argument from me on that.
Cheers.

"There is (a) class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs -- partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs."

In 1895, Booker T. Washington publicly put forth his philosophy on race relations in a speech at the Cotton States and International Exposition in Atlanta, Georgia, known as the "Atlanta Compromise." In his speech, Washington stated that African Americans should accept disenfranchisement and social segregation as long as whites allow them economic progress, educational opportunity and justice in the courts. This started a firestorm in parts of the African-American community, especially in the North. Activists like W.E.B. Du Bois (who was working as a professor at Atlanta University at the time) deplored Washington's conciliatory philosophy and his belief that African Americans were only suited to vocational training. Du Bois criticized Washington for not demanding equality for African Americans, as granted by the 14th Amendment, and subsequently became an advocate for full and equal rights in every realm of a person's life.

Racism on all sides but SOME black people are really racist. Probably as racist as the kkk.

Probably?

How about definetely. Saw a twitter post by a black guy who said 'woke up this morning and saw two white people got killed, the world is a little bit better" when those two reporters got killed by that one black guy in Virginia(?)

Stop beating around the bush, it's political correctness like yours that never defines absolutes that reinforces racist attitudes.

So I should care about some no name pastor and his opinions?

May as well make threads about white evangelists and their hate speech and see whose more bigoted, white people or black people?

Either way, not constructive.

DO you even know the meaning of the word "bigot" ?

And how exactly is it not constructive??

In order to put out a burning house, first you need the address!

In the progressive PC world, we are not even allowed to acknowledge that there is a freakin fire!!

For things to ever get better, everyone needs to first acknowledge that this man is correct.

Regardless of color, race, creed, religion etc: excessive welfare has always been shown to remove motivation and spirit from any people. All the communist countries are a perfect example. When man is permitted to pursue his own welfare and keep the fruits of his labor, then he is truly free and will prosper. The story of reconstruction era Africans is absolutely true.

Spoken as a lying liberal who benefits from racism.
