Keep in mind that 1 in 5 people in the world are Muslim. About 100 years ago, 1 in 5 people were Muslim. In 100 years 1 in 5 people will be Muslim.

This won't change anytime soon. Once we realize that, then we can begin to have a serious discussion about Islam.

Then we can look and see why Judaism and Christianity have become less violent throughout the centuries. If we study that and discuss the reasons for those religions becoming more peaceful, perhaps we can find a solution to extremism?
