I'll take being a xenophobe all day, over being dead....
2nd..

Then your a coward.

Anyone that sacrfices there freedoms and values of a bit of secruity is a coward.

Why? how?

Nice take on the common quote.. explain how its cowardice?

Here's an example. There's this book, it's pretty obscure....In it, no one has really any freedom at all and they live that way thinking their government is protecting them from wars that are actually imaginary. They work where they are told, they eat small bits of food they are given, live in tiny apartments with no curtains so drones can look in. Some even have jobs that prove this is going on, but they still don't see it. And those are the people that belong to the single political party. The rest live in horrible slums and are distracted by free porn and alcohol and such. Unbelievable I know right??? That people would give up freedoms in exchange for being told they were safe.

Probably a waste of time to read.

Does it trump my rights? Does it ay I must forgo them?

Book or not, another mans words are just that.

yeah sounds pretty nice to think, but guess what? You and I live in a world full of killers. Sorry I don't read a book to say its' ok.

You asked how that works. Trump is saying we should do something that would take away a freedom we have because, he says, it may make us safer. If even a few people here believe trump, what happened in that book may not be far behind. I hope not.

Sheesh I can't believe, as someone defending freedom of religion in this thread, I'M the bad guy here... Muslim hate is strong right now. So sad...

I admit it I hate Islam. I think it's a vile corruption.

I think all religion is as bad.

now what?

How do you feel about the First Amendment?

Dunno. Dont have it in my country. I do have this thing called a thought process though.

Then you really don't know what you're talking about then. The US Constitution is supposed to be all encompassing. The 1st guarantees among other things the freedom of religion. Thus shutting down mosques would be unconstitutional. And Trump is an idiot to even suggest it.

I've never heard of that mosque. Where is it?

It will be in your news soon enough.

So you came into a thread on American politics while not being fully informed about the political process that is being discussed here? Good job. You are doing SOOO much to convince me of the error of my ways. What with your rudeness and (admitted) ignorance of the topic you are discussing.

So you can predict the future? A mosque called "Pathetic" will be involved in a terrorist plot in the States?

Never mind, to explain it would be certainly a waste of time.

Oh did I? A foreigner comes into your world and tells you things you dont like?

And you have the gall to not like it?

Really?? You are going to so love islam, when it comes knocking on your door..

"Sharia wont like it.. rock the casbah rock the casbah"

you are in for a treat, sir.

My ignorance of the topic.. beautiful.. I know more about this topic than you certainly do. I live it.

When I was deployed in Iraq we'd stop at a local town outside of the base I was stationed at and would drop off the extra road supplies we had to the children that came up to our trucks. We had adults walk up too. We'd give to the women, but sometimes the men tried to take from the children and the women, but we aren't trying to get rid of rudeness or selfishness here. Just intolerance.

Locally, we do not accept people we do not want in our community. Sorry, This seat is taken. Some are great people, some are not. Strange thing is, people get the hint and don't try to stay here. Nothing illegal, just a simple "You should go some where else". There is a simple answer. Maybe I am living in the past.

Yes. It's clear you don't really pay much attention to whats happening in America.

It must be done on a community level. Know your neighbors. I hate the "See something, say something" to the core, but we know who they are. Man, I wish I had answers for us, but this is a real catch 22. I can normally pick a side with a clear line. Reading these posts has me bouncing back and forth between hate and love.

How about trusting that statistically you are more likely to NOT run into an extremist than to run into one? Just like every other religion in the world.

Im just wondering, do you feel the same about white racism?

Well of course I didn't like it. You insulted me for no reason. I'm supposed to just take that without getting upset or something?

Though none of that excuses your ignorance of the United States' First Amendment.

So Muslims are going to start knocking on my door at 8am on Saturdays like Jehovah's Witnesses now? While that is irritating, I think I can live with it.

My ignorance of the topic.. beautiful.. I know more about this topic than you certainly do. I live it.

Well I was talking about ignorance on the First Amendment, but hey if you want to play that card, so do I. I live it every day because I WORK with Muslims. The company I work for is owned by a bunch of Muslims and we all get along just fine.

Sharia is not the correct word in the lyrics and the song is about people defying an Arab ruler with music.

So May 4th is "recently" in your book? I thought that the Muslims were supposed to be kicking down the door to America to be blowing us up left and right. Not have one obscure attack within a year.

I mean if the total deaths for Muslim terrorism in the States tallies up to "two", I think I can live with that considering the murder rates for other reasons in this country.

Children ad kids. Not indoctrinated yet into hate.

they become killers once religion has filled their minds.

NO one is hating kids.....
