I'll take being a xenophobe all day, over being dead....
2nd..
Then your a coward.
Anyone that sacrfices there freedoms and values of a bit of secruity is a coward.
Why? how?
Nice take on the common quote.. explain how its cowardice?
Here's an example. There's this book, it's pretty obscure....In it, no one has really any freedom at all and they live that way thinking their government is protecting them from wars that are actually imaginary. They work where they are told, they eat small bits of food they are given, live in tiny apartments with no curtains so drones can look in. Some even have jobs that prove this is going on, but they still don't see it. And those are the people that belong to the single political party. The rest live in horrible slums and are distracted by free porn and alcohol and such. Unbelievable I know right??? That people would give up freedoms in exchange for being told they were safe.
Probably a waste of time to read.
Does it trump my rights? Does it ay I must forgo them?
Book or not, another mans words are just that.
yeah sounds pretty nice to think, but guess what? You and I live in a world full of killers. Sorry I don't read a book to say its' ok.

Sheesh I can't believe, as someone defending freedom of religion in this thread, I'M the bad guy here... Muslim hate is strong right now. So sad...
I admit it I hate Islam. I think it's a vile corruption.
I think all religion is as bad.
now what?
How do you feel about the First Amendment?
Dunno. Dont have it in my country. I do have this thing called a thought process though.

You asked how that works. Trump is saying we should do something that would take away a freedom we have because, he says, it may make us safer. If even a few people here believe trump, what happened in that book may not be far behind. I hope not.

I asked how it works because you dont understand it.
Never mind, to explain it would be certainly a waste of time.

So you came into a thread on American politics while not being fully informed about the political process that is being discussed here? Good job. You are doing SOOO much to convince me of the error of my ways. What with your rudeness and (admitted) ignorance of the topic you are discussing.

Have any mosques contributed to any terrorist attacks within our country lately either? Of course not. We haven't had one within our borders recently.

It must be done on a community level. Know your neighbors. I hate the "See something, say something" to the core, but we know who they are. Man, I wish I had answers for us, but this is a real catch 22. I can normally pick a side with a clear line. Reading these posts has me bouncing back and forth between hate and love.
How about trusting that statistically you are more likely to NOT run into an extremist than to run into one? Just like every other religion in the world.

Oh did I? A foreigner comes into your world and tells you things you dont like?
And you have the gall to not like it?
Really?? You are going to so love islam, when it comes knocking on your door..
"Sharia wont like it.. rock the casbah rock the casbah"
you are in for a treat, sir.
My ignorance of the topic.. beautiful.. I know more about this topic than you certainly do. I live it.

That was enough to sway me one more time to the love side of tings. My brother told me stories of Iraq and the children would run up and hug his leg. It broke his heart.
