Paris shooting: Several 'killed and injured after shootout' in French restaurant

For all those spouting about immigrants this is maybe 10 persons with arms and a few suicide vests it could happen in any country where these arms are in the wrong hands with an orchestrated attack. At least they have shown themselves and hopefully will be dealt with. Sad for the innocent victims who will be of all nationalities.

The gunmen yelled 'Allahu Akbar'. I wonder when the media is going to call it what it is.

Apparantly my french mate are saying a second shooting have started in another location called "les Halles"

CNN is calling it a terrorist attack by Islamists as of a few minutes ago.

My thoughts and prayers to those passed. But honestly even more so to all of you guys in Europe. I cannot imagine living in France righr about now..

BBC just reported that some people have escaped from the theatre where the hostage situation is.

Finally a small bit of good news. With 100+ hostages, at least it's likely they'll go unnoticed.

These are obviously coordinated attacks, french intelligence service failed so hard. WHAT THE F**K HAVE THEY BEEN DOING ALL THIS TIME?

Welcome to the world post-9/11 where it seems the war we started to stop this terrorism has done nothing but create it.

I believe that this is a real terror attack and I think there's allot more to come, more frequent and on the exact kind of scales which this is on. In my eyes, this attack is a perfect example of future attacks which I believe are all been allowed to happen, a deliberate plan from the top which has let real terrorist infiltrate Europe, armed and ready at any time.


I hope this thread doesn't turn into a debate about guns been legal or not, because it would have still had the same outcome - dozens of deaths. Arguing about how fast the killer would have been killed is nonsensical and I hope the mods moderate the thread accordingly.

The anti-terrorism prosecutor has taken over the investigation now so I wouldn't be at all surprised to find the heavy hitters get deployed.

So, we gonna blame Charlie Hebdo for this crap, too... or are we finally going to address the 800 lb gorilla in the room?
