Many people reportedly killed in restaurant by a man with Kalashnikov near Place de la République
A man has shot several people dead and wounded many with a Kalashnikov, according to reports in French media.

PARIS (AP) - Police officials in France say there has been an explosion in a bar near a Paris stadium and a shootout in a Paris restaurant.
BFM television says there were several dead in the restaurant shooting in the 10th arrondissement of the capital. Two police officials confirmed the shooting but had no information about casualties.
One of the police officials said there was a separate explosion near the Stade de France north of Paris. It was unclear if the events were linked.
Both officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to be publicly named.

Several people were killed and seven others injured in a shooting in central Paris late Friday, CNN affiliate BFMTV reported. Police are at the scene outside a restaurant in the 10th arrondissement where the incident occurred. Source

It seems there may be three possible attack sites: a restaurant, a bar and outside the Stade de France. Details are very much confirmed at this stage.
