Oh god, yes, that must be it!

Get over it.
I wasn't totally wrong. You're still paranoid.

I admitted my mistake, but the parallel was obvious, even with your obfuscation.

Another day another propaganda BS story on ATS. Yawn. I knew it was bullcrap as soon as i saw the picture in the OP. Write some lies and put a picture of angry arabs, totaly unreleated to the story, and watch sheeple eat it up.

I hope I am paranoid, I really do! Nothing would make me happier but we will wait and see won't we. There is only so long that people can keep blaming every single negative thing that happens on propaganda. I admit I've seen many articles recently that have nothing to do with what they say they do (a lot of old news from years ago). I do my research these days before putting news articles on forums, but by the same token that propaganda works both ways. Take the child on the beach in Turkey. A perfect example of propaganda to tug at the heartstrings of Europeans and UK citizens. The background was completely different than how it was portrayed. The same when the TV cameras were on the Hungarian borders. All they kept showing were children and people with nice clean pieces of A4 paper saying let us through. Again, the truth was that behind all those children were hundreds of men.

BTW I posted my rant to you before I saw you had deleted your comment. So I apologise on that score had I seen your apology I wouldn't have posted my rant a reply to: aorAki

I'm not here to have rows with people I prefer healthy debates. I would rather if people have an alternative view to at least give that view but there seems to be two lines of thought. There are people who agree with me and see the dangers of Europe letting hundreds of thousands in unvetted. Then on the opposing side are people who don't think these people are any danger but they never give sources to back up what they are saying they just revert to name calling. I'm not going to back down on my beliefs just because I keep having names thrown at me, I feel too strongly about the dangers we are facing to be silenced. I'm a good person and would never hurt anyone or wish anyone harm. I certainly don't wish any harm to any of the people coming into Europe, however I feel SOME OF THEM do wish me and my family harm, because we have people here already in the UK who wish us harm and we hear their rantings and see their rantings everywhere. People like this British man yesterday on the radio

www.express.co.uk...

www.express.co.uk...

Both of these articles are true because I have researched both. There is stuff like this happening daily here so it is any wonder over the years British people have turned hostile to the muslim religion in general. Its only a few months ago many British people were massacred on a beach in Tunisia and only a couple of years ago since Lee Rigby was beheaded on a London Street both in the name of Islam.

For the sake of putting the other side across I was also heartened to see this counter-argument yesterday from a British muslim.

www.express.co.uk...

I just don't want more adding to the numbers that are already here. We have enough problems without generating more problems and if that means that innocent refugees are caught up in that then I am sorry but I think they would have been better placed going to another muslim country where they will integrate more fully.

These refugees aren't like refugees we have had in the past. In the past the refugees who have come have been leaving terror and war not bringing some of that culture with them. Why keep bringing people here who hate westerners and hate our way of life? It doesn't make any sense. I would much prefer it if we took Christian refugees from Syria because they are the most persecuted and we are predominantly a Christian Country and I don't want that to change. I don't want to go back to medieval times.

Now hold on a minute. Once again it seems an actual Swede has to step in and clear things up. Avpixlat.se is a known anti-immigration, racist, extreme right-biased website. They have been exposed for publishing false articles so many times at this point that only those ignorant of this fact still read and fall for their BS.

Their claim that a weapons cache was found at Krokoms refugee center has been confirmed to be false by both the police and local authorities.

www.op.se...

I suggest you confirm claims such as this by checking if other newspapers or reliable media have reported on this. Seriously, this would be breaking news if it was true. Fortunately, it is not which explains why there's no other than Avpixlat.se that has reported on this.

This kind of lack of source criticism is the reason there's such a heated debate about this in Sweden. The extreme right in this country is clouding people's judgement with articles such as this. Those too lazy to perform any kind of source criticism or to even be skeptical at all fall for this kind of BS, allowing racist political parties to gain popularity and votes, are the ones to be afraid of. This is the true horror and tragedy and I'm ashamed of how ignorant some of us Swedes are.

Deny ignorance, please.

I'm asking you this as a Swedish person are stories like these not true then speisa.com...

I'm just genuinely interested to hear your perspective on it because as an outsider and living in the UK these are the kind of stories that seem to be coming out of Sweden. I note on this website it also mentions the weapons cache. However, I don't know what kind of a website Speisa.com is because when I have tried to search on its political leanings etc not much is coming up. Obviously, this article seems shocking to an outsider if indeed crimes like this are being hidden. I would just like your input please.a reply to: ABeing

It all depends on the source. I don't know about this particular case nor whether or not speisa is a reliable source. But Avpixlat.se is definitely not a reliable one, and a true story about one man raping a child, however disgusting as it is, is an entirely different thing compared to a false article about an weapons cache in a refugee center

Some could try to relate in a way to how defenseless these people are in their travels away from their home in much the same way as so many feel the need to arm themselves when they go to the grocery store with a handgun in their glove-box or purse.

Of course the immigrants/refugees would only be a threat to a totally dis-armed population in the host country.

I wouldn't want to be completely defenseless here in the U.S., but that doesn't make me a potential terrorist or an extremist does it?.

Can't have people wanting to be able to defend themselves now, can we?.

Just saying people need to try to relate, in a way.....

I think this story is just more fear mongering and maybe completely bogus.

That's the point people in the USA are looking at the situation in Europe and forgetting in a lot of our Countries (like the UK) we have no weapons to defend ourselves so it is all the more worrying when we think that potentially there could be terrorists infiltrating the immigrants. If something happened in this Country our police aren't armed either. How many long do you think it would take for armed police to be on the scene and imagine the damage that could be done in that amount of time!a reply to: MyHappyDogShiner

however in my eyes Islam is on the move and it is completely incompatible with the west and our beliefs and standards.

And your take on Islam is incompatible with my western standart of religious freedom. I've had enough personal relationships with intelligent and decent Muslims. Maybe you don't, but you should!

The real pricks in my 3 decades so far were native Krauts and friggin pseudo-Christians, but I'll give you an update if that should change one day.

May I just say that the fact you know only educated and intelligent muslims is your problem. I had both the pleasure and the misfortune to have known educated and nice muslims and very angry, chauvinistic, backwards and west hating muslims and I tell you that the former ones do not bother me either, however the latter ones should worry YOU!

Well, there's always the possibility, but one has to consider the likelyhood of such a possibility. As the grandson of a journalist, I dare to claim that Swedish journalism has kept a very high standard throughout the years. There are the usual click bait online papers, like Expressen, Aftonbladet and Nyheter24 that are quite shameless in their efforts to get as many clicks as possible. But other papers, such as Dagens Nyheter have a reputation of staying true to the principles of real journalism. If the article on Avpixlat.se had been true, Expressen, Aftonbladet and Nyheter24 would have been all over it long before even Avpixlat.se would have been, since it would attract a huge number of online clicks and readers. Dagens Nyheter would definitely also have reported on the story, simply because it would have been their job to do so. I see no reason as to why it would be in any newspapers interest to keep such a story under wraps. However, I can definitely see a reason as to why a anti-immigrant, racist, extreme right-biased online website like Avpixlat.se would fabricate such a story to influence the public opinion in an attempt to make sure that the extreme right political parties get more votes and political power.
They have done this many times before, completely shamelessly.

And there is nowhere in the whole of Qur'an anything about 72 virgins or what not.

That's not what I've read. In fact, I've read about it many many times during my previous attempts to "understand" islam.
What about hadith?

Hadith (/ˈhædɪθ/[1] or /hɑːˈdiːθ/;[2] Arabic: حديث‎, plural: أحاديث, ahadith) are the collections of the reports claiming to quote what the prophet Muhammad said verbatim on any matter.[3] The term comes from the Arabic meaning "report", "account" or "narrative". Hadiths are second only to the Quran in developing Islamic jurisprudence,[4] and regarded as important tools for understanding the Quran and commentaries (tafsir) on it.

So let's examine the multitude of translations therein.

Reported in Ma`rifat al-Sahaba and Tarikh Dimashq[edit]
Hatib ibn Abi Balta`a said, Allah be well-pleased with him: I heard the Messenger of Allah say, upon him blessings and peace: “The believer in Paradise shall be married off to seventy-two women, seventy women of the hereafter and two women of the women of this world.”
Abu al-Shaykh in al-`Azama and al-Bayhaqi in al-Ba`th wal-Nushur

Reported by Abu al-Shaykh in al-`Azama and al-Bayhaqi in al-Ba`th wal-Nushur[edit]
Ibn Abi Awfa said, Allah be well-pleased with him: The Messenger of Allah said, upon him blessings and peace: “Every man from the People of Paradise shall be married off to four thousand virgins, eight thousand slave-girls, and one hundred wide-eyed maidens of Paradise. They shall all meet him within every seven days. They shall say with their exquisite voices no creature has ever heard the like before: ‘We are the everlasting women, we never grow old, we are the refined women, we never grow sour, we are the ever-pleased women, we never anger, we are the sedentary ones, we never travel away, blessings to him who is for us and we are for him!’”
Abu al-Shaykh in al-`Azama and al-Bayhaqi in al-Ba`th wal-Nushur

Reported in Sunan al-Kubra and Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal[edit]
Anas said, Allah be well-pleased with him: The Messenger of Allah said, upon him blessings and peace:
“The servant in Paradise shall be married with seventy wives.” Someone said, “Messenger of Allah, can he bear it?” He said: “He will be given strength for a hundred.”

From Zayd ibn Arqam, Allah be well-pleased with him, when an incredulous Jew or Christian asked the Prophet, upon him blessings and peace, “Are you claiming that a man will eat and drink in Paradise??” He replied: “Yes, by the One in Whose hand is my soul, and each of them will be given the strength of a hundred men in his eating, drinking, coitus, and pleasure.”

Surah al-Waqi‘a - Verses 34-37:
34. And endeared women.
35. Indeed, We created them of a novel creation.
36. And made all of them virgins.
37. Loving their husbands and of equal age, fluent, and sweet of tongue.

Virgins.

What else does it have to say?...

And for variety, Islamic Paradise offers more than endless heterosexual pleasure. The martyrs there will also spend eternity serviced by handsome “boys of perpetual freshness: if thou seest them, thou wouldst think them scattered pearls” (Koran 76:19) or “young boys…as fair as virgin pearls” (Koran 52:24).

What about the description of these young pure virgins? -ahem Houri

A houri is a most beautiful young woman with a transparent body. The marrow of her bones is visible like the interior lines of pearls and rubies. She looks like red wine in a white glass. She is of white color, and free from the routine physical disabilities of an ordinary woman such as menstruation, menopause, urinal and offal discharge, child bearing and the related pollution. A houri is a girl of tender age, having large breasts which are round (pointed), and not inclined to dangle. Houris dwell in palaces of splendid surroundings.

— Al-Tirmidhi, Jami` at-Tirmidhi[39]

What about an erection to take care of these white, transparent virgins?

"Each time we sleep with a houri we find her virgin...

Besides, the penis of the Elected never softens.

The erection is eternal;

...the sensation that you feel each time you make love is utterly delicious and out of this world and were you to experience it in this world you would faint. Each chosen one [ie Muslim] will marry seventy [sic] houris, besides the women he married on earth, and all will have appetising vaginas."

The never ending eternal erection for the elected. Sounds painful. Sure seems your religion thinks a lot about sex. And boys...

BOYS.

Homosexuality was, and is, widely practised in Islamic countries. To please the homosexuals among his followers, Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah, promised them pre-pubescent boys in Paradise. So after committing plunder, looting, rape and murder in this life, the followers of Islam will be "rewarded" by untouched virginal youths who are fresh like pearls.

(QURAN 52:24): "And there will go round boy-servants of theirs, to serve them as if they were preserved pearls."

(QURAN 56:17): "They will be served by immortal boys."

(QURAN 76:19): "And round about them will (serve) boys of everlasting youth. If you see them, you would think them scattered pearls."

Guys, we are WAAAAY off-topic. I aint trying to limit anyone's right to speak (hope thats obvious) but lets not turn this into another one of THOSE threads, please?

Bottom line, the story is in doubt. Honestly, in today's age though that really doesn't mean anything anymore b/c the fourth column lost all credibilty years ago. so who really knows what the sam hell is going on today?

I mean, unless you've actually seen it, or heard from someone you trust that actually saw it, who the hell can believe ANY type of state-based media any more?

Beyond sad, beyond disgusting & utterly disheartening.

Agreed. What is interesting, at least to me personally, is discussing the current situation with regards to the Middle Eastern crisis and its effects on Europe. There is no doubt, I think, in anyone's mind that the crisis has affected the state of large parts of the world, especially the western hemishpere (and obviously the Middle East).

I find it quite bothering, all the fingerpointing, blaming, prejudice that appears in so many of these discussions. In reality, the situation is so incredibly complex, that one simply cannot put the blame on any one target alone, be it a culture, a religion, an ethnic group of people, this or that country and its goverment, one single terrorist group or some elusive secret society. This is a situation of conflicting interests, ideologies and cultures. We can all shout "fire!" anywhere there's a spark and watch it all burn to the ground, or we can try to figure out why there was a spark in the first place and try to find a way to put the damn fires out, if possible.

I apologize if I went off-topic, either now or before. I'll do my best to stay on track.

As I said in a previous thread fear will be created to call in extreme measures to implement biometric tracking of refugees and then the total population.

Regarding this specific case there is a lot of guess work and having to take things on trust. Why would one smuggle in guns and then hide them in boiler rooms and lock them in. Where did they get the key? Did no one see these people enter these areas etc.

I need a lot more proof than what's been offered here. Furthermore I think one has an agenda to immediately jump to the conclusion of weapons must equal refugee. This is the type of thinking that will spread to the mass. Shame on the gullible.

This cannot be true.

The politically correctness brigade and apologists have told us all repeatedly that there are "NO", ISIL fighters amongst the tens of thousands of healthy young men surging across the borders of Europe.

These weapons were just coincidentally happened to be in the same place as the insurgen.... "Ummm, I mean refugees".

"not a question of a small hunting guns, but several real firearms according to respondents."

I'd like to know what caliber/model weapons were found

Well, not small hunting guns..!!

I'd wager they were somewhere along the lines of Kalashnikov and AK. Those are real guns..!!

And if so, it only cements the claim that Jihadists are using the exodus to invade the west, because what reason would fleeing refugees have to smuggle in guns and hide them..!?!
