I direct you to the first words in your OP:

Proof that Vaccines do indeed cause autism-like issues, and that ATS members are being validated on their past threads, comments, and concerns regarding government cover-ups, and corruption regarding some vaccines.

What say you ATS?

If you can't stand behind your own OP, what are we to think about your ... should we say "honest intentions"?

You are trumpeting that the anti-vaxxers are vindicated. You are utterly mistaken.

Have some dignity not to nit-pick your own post for gods sake.

Well thanks for directing everyone's attention to the first words in the OP. "regarding some vaccines"

The word "All" means everything.

The word "Some" means a few.

I also said nothing about anti-vaccine people, but did however speak about past posts regarding government cover-ups, and corruption regarding some vaccines.

At ATS we are here to "Deny Ignorance" If we collectively understand and know there are drawbacks to vaccines, maybe we can avoid the pitfalls. If "Some" vaccines are detrimental to young, old, or people with underlying physical issues then this needs to be out in the open.

Lying, cheating, and hiding scientific data is nothing more than pseudo-science not fit for anyone.

Again if you would have taken the time to listen to Ben Swan's report it states that vaccines are worthwhile in many cases.

Please stop trying to derail this thread with your drama. Thanks

And yet autism is far more prevalent in boys.

True but I remember reading an article a while ago that there is speculation that girls are not referred for diagnosis and thus they are missing from statistics. This is due to the fact that girls are less disruptive and can hide their difficulties better than boys.

www.autism.org.uk...

I have no doubt girls make up the majority of undiagnosed autism. But, according to the article you linked to, to explain the lopsided ratio, we would be talking about half of all autistic girls, at the very least...and, at the most, a missed diagnosis in 15 out of 16 girls. Besides, as you stated, it's speculation.

He admitted it, then gave it to Rep Posey, "Hard Facts", Documentation, and computer files backing his claims on vaccines.

In Dr. Thompson own words:

“I have great shame now when I meet a family with kids with autism, because I have been a part of the problem.” “I shoulder that the CDC has put the research ten years behind. Because the CDC has not been transparent, we’ve missed ten years of research, because the CDC is so paralyzed right now by anything related to autism. They’re not doing what they should be doing. They are afraid to look for things that might be associated.”

Merck comes into my Sister's (a nurse) office weekly and incentives the doctor to give out vaccines and prescriptions like candy, they really push adderal which is for KIDS! Go google it and be shocked.

It's a business, the only drug that can be enforced by the state, a pharmaceutical's wet dream.

And America's mantra is: "They're ger'nna take 'er guns! But now you go on git your kids vaccinated, we don't want those disease bags 'round 'er kids, ya hear?"

Irony.

Not to create a thread drift, but we live in a society that is all about the quick fix. There is a pill for everything. The pharmaceutical companies are our go to gods any time we want to change how we feel. Have an ache? Take a pill. Feeling sad? Take a pill. Over weight? Take a pill. Under weight? Take a pill. Want to be whiter, want to have a baby, want to not have a baby, afraid of having a condition; the pharmaceutical gods have the answers.

We risk our own health and well being with our pharmaceutical gods, but worse, we are teaching our children to worship them also. We are allowing them to use our children as guinea pigs, and assist them in throwing them into the pit.

Listen carefully to those endless drug commercials on TV were they encourage you to beg your doctor to write you a prescription. They spend 15 seconds telling you about the wonders of the drug, and 45 seconds telling you about all the possible ill effects. Half of the medicines are not even for life threatening illnesses.

Drug companies have one and only one purpose. To make money, and a lot of it. They could not care less about you, your well being, your children, or anything else, if they tried. You take a well documented risk every time you inject or consume any pharmaceutical. You put your faith in the pharmaceutical god and trust, that it is what they say it is, that it will do what they said it will do, and that it will not kill you in the process. If you are sick enough, it is a chance you just have to take.

We are truly a vain, self-centered, egotistical lot. I hope the survivors, if they make a religion, that they make one forbidding them to repeat all the crap we did wrong, and didn't get right.

It's not really thread drift at all, in fact, your info backs up everything that is going on.

Many people accept things blindly, or if they have done, or continue to do something it becomes the norm.

The problem with not questioning things, and just excepting them puts many people at risk, but large corporations have tons of money to cover things up, pay shills to post, and continue with blinding propaganda, so people think everything's ok.

If there is a turd in the punch bowl, personally I would like to know.

Thanks for your input.

Thanks, I know vaccines cause problems for some segment of the population. Deaths even. Waging unjust aggressive wars are more lethal, so are all the other pollutants in the environment and our bodies.

I'm glad you are 'vindicated'. I bet the next time you need to go to another country you check the CDC health advisories for your destination.

So anyone who is remotely skeptical or disagrees with the intentions of someone ( because they work for the CDC)who is blowing the lid off of highly controversial political issue about vaccinations is just ignorant or a shill?

I have to commemorate you,I've never heard such a devoted line of rhetoric in appealing to authority.

Ignorant? Sure. Shill? Your just dismissing criticism. Not implying shills aren't on this site.

What is your first sentence? Let's look at it again:

Proof that Vaccines do indeed cause autism-like issues, and that ATS members are being validated on their past threads, comments, and concerns regarding government cover-ups, and corruption regarding some vaccines.

I've emphasized the portion of your comment that you seem to be desperately trying to avoid.

Notice that you did not say "some Vaccines do indeed cause autism-like issues" nor did you say "a few" or "the MMR Vaccine" ...

Nothing in this information that is routinely dredged up from mid-2014 regarding a study from 2002-2004 is "new."

The report on the CBS affiliate in Atlanta (your vid) was generated from a recent protest outside the CDC. I know, I heard the protesters from my front yard as I left for work. It was a bit interesting for a day's news cycle, and a young reporter making a name for himself took advantage of it.

The information however, is from 2014 regarding a study in 2002-4.

I wonder, how is it you distrust thousands of doctors and medical professionals and accuse them basically of lying and shilling for the CDC and big Pharma, and yet this one doctor is telling the absolute truth? I'll let you contemplate the logic of that position.

I posted information from August of this year in which these claims are clearly disputed with evidence.

Participating in your thread pointing to the facts that disprove your vastly exaggerated initial assertion is hardly derailing anything

Vaccines, yes there were more than one in Dr. Thompson's documents, so hence plural, but not "ALL".

Have you even read the link and article you posted? And do you know who the author is and what her background is?

She is a pro-vaccine blogger, so she has a bias and has books out, and one coming out on Vaccines. Basically she is promoting herself, hence she makes a living from pro vaccine agenda's. She also has legal claims against her for blogging false information on Forbes, and is in a hot seat for that.

Always follow the money trail my friend.

Cecala says that the documents in question will be distributed only to members of Congress and will not be made available otherwise until if and when a hearing is held.

There is no conclusion yet since it has not gone to court, or has been investigated any deeper by congress.

If you have something to add then do so, but trying to twist words only creates unnecessary drama, in a thread.

You know as well as I do that you were, just a moment ago, trying to say that the sentence that I'm drawing attention to was referring specifically to the case study regarding the MMR vaccine and a small sample of African American boys that was discarded. You specifically were not referring to the 100K or so documents that were turned over later to the Congressman.

It's plain for all to see.

And who is at the root of your issue? Andrew Wakeifield and Brian Hooker. Would it be fair to qualify them as anti-vaxers? Has Dr. Thompson stated clearly that he was tricked into working with Hooker? Let's see:

I have had many discussions with Dr. Brian Hooker over the last 10 months regarding studies the CDC has carried out regarding vaccines and neurodevelopmental outcomes including autism spectrum disorders. I share his belief that CDC decision-making and analyses should be transparent. I was not, however, aware that he was recording any of our conversations, nor was I given any choice regarding whether my name would be made public or my voice would be put on the Internet.

Science blogs August 28, 2014

I've quoted Dr. Thompson's words. If you believe what he said about the study, I think you have to believe about the CDC, the value of vaccines, and the treachery of Dr. Hooker.

Or maybe not ... logical consistency doesn't seem to be that important in this matter.

Since Dr. Thompson is, according to the general theme here, one of the only doctors that can be trusted now ... let's see what else he ACTUALLY said back in 2014:

My colleagues and supervisors at the CDC have been entirely professional since this matter became public. In fact, I received a performance-based award after this story came out. I have experienced no pressure or retaliation and certainly was not escorted from the building, as some have stated.

So ... according to the doctor everyone can trust ... the CDC has not pressured him or retaliated in any way.

What does he have to say about vaccines?

I want to be absolutely clear that I believe vaccines have saved and continue to save countless lives. I would never suggest that any parent avoid vaccinating children of any race. Vaccines prevent serious diseases, and the risks associated with their administration are vastly outweighed by their individual and societal benefits.

Perfect and thanks for pointing out how Dr. Thompson went from one story to a completely different story years later.

And you say the CDC didn't pressure him? Agreed. The CDC doesn't have to a multi-billion dollar industry will.

I'm sure that has to do with fear, rather than his conscience. Big money can buy lots of closed mouths, and threats to family and friends.

I can see it now. "Dr. Thompson 3 million to keep your mouth shut, or death" lol Choose wisely.

More than likely we will never know the truth, because the files that Posey now has were never challenged, and that Dr. Thompson appears to be someone that flip-flopped on his original claims, and conveniently went silent.

Do you realize that your OP depends on what Dr. Thompson said LAST YEAR in August 2014?

Do you realize that the young man at Channel 46 in Atlanta is taking advantage of a protest a few days ago at the CDC, but that he is referring as well to what Dr. Thompson said LAST YEAR IN 2014?

Do you realize that I QUOTED what Dr. Thompson said last year in 2014?

I can see I'm wasting my time. You're interested in anything that will sustain your beliefs, not the facts of the matter.

Are they doing any decent research to find out why this poor group are affected so badly and what can be done?

Look at children of missionaries, diplomats, and military personnel.

Speaking as an Army brat, we got vaccinations every time we moved (about every 3 years) The other groups also got vaccinated far more frequently than anyone else. We got the mercury laced vaccines and everything else.

I held out for while on this thread but I will now give everyone my perspective

I was a process controls engineer that not only built, programmed and designed incubators for flu vaccines, but serviced them for many years as well. Honeywell has temperature controls called UDC's that are a standard in the process controls industry, that are used and incorporated into the control panels in most incubators today.

There is a lot of trust in machines, large corporations, and the ability for safe vaccines to go out. Adults typically have a strong immune system, but infants, and small children typically don't have the resistance that adults do. With that being said I'll continue.

Parke Davis Warner Lambert was at one time the sole provider of the flu vaccine, and many others. I believe they are now a division of Pfizer.

Vaccines are typically grown, and incubated in eggs. Temperatures must remain precise for the vaccines to develop properly, and then the viruses are irradiated, and supposedly killed off completely, by process control instrumentation, and programmable controllers. Quality control is typically very tight, and if a batch is deemed bad they scrap it, but there are times that supposedly irradiated virus go out live. Yes believe it, or not computer controlled machines breakdown and people sometimes make mistakes.

The reasons I have for some vaccines that are dangerous are that I watched a perfectly healthy family member receive a pneumonia vaccine, and within minutes they were gasping for air, only to die within 24 hours.

My first thought when they were dying was those bad batches going out, and people with weakened or suppressed immune system not being able to fight off the toxic dose.

If you were surprised by the reaction to the shot, you either did not receive the information leaflets our doctor handed us when our son got his shots or you did not read them. Mild fever is a common thing following a shot.

When they say your kid will not get sick, they are referring to the disease being vaccinated against. Your child won't get measles, mumps, rubella, etc., from the shots, but a fever is simply indicative of your child's immune response. It's a good thing; it means your child has an immune system to react to the antigens in the shot.

People sometimes also have allergic reactions to the vaccines too. If it took minutes for your family member to be gasping for air, then it was likely a very bad allergic reaction to the shot, and even the best batch of vaccine could cause that.

You never know exactly when the immune system could decide to deliver that kind of bad reaction, either. A slight immune system sensitivity to something in the shot could develop into a full-blown anaphylaxis from one shot to the next. That's why I always had to carry an epi-pen when getting allergy shots.

A vast majority of doctors say vaccines are safe

Have you ever attended a drug rep sponsored dinner? Fascinating experience. Quite eye-opening, in truth.

Why are doctors saying vaccines are safe?

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I have attended many a dinner where big Pharma gives prescribing physicians gratuitous incentives: vacations, golf memberships, tickets to sporting events designated for the 1% ers, and other high valued items, just to push profits for their drug-of-the-year.

If a doctor has a choice between Superbowl tickets or not, it's the not that loses.

Note: not all physicians or pharma reps do this, but it absolutely does happen.

Food for thought: do pediatricians retain those patients they have vaccinated when that patient turns 21 years old?
Unlikely. Do health issues crop up for people later in life after having been vaccinated years before? Do you hold the now retired pediatrician responsible, who assured your mom or dad, that vaccines are safe?

Vaccines MAY BE safe. That is a truer statement.
