But honestly... who cares?
Who reads this magazine, how does it impact your life?
Would you comment if anyone else had won it?

I agree with this. If Glamour wants to give a man "woman of the year" award, whoopty damn doo, it's their own laughing stock they're creating, nothing more. Of course I would think feminists would be coming unglued at this point... 2015's most decorated woman is a dude.
LOOK HOW FAR YOU'VE COME, LADIES!

More propaganda to appease the kardashian hollyweird crowd.

Absolutely - great post.
It's a disgrace and an embarrassment that people talk about and treat other people this way.

I know the answers to the questions I ask... I just like to give people enough rope to hang themselves is all.

Since when did Glamour become the authority? Who cares what a magazine says? I don't understand the outrage?

(pdf warning ) www.scirp.org/journal/PaperDownload.aspx?paperID=43284 (pdf warning) Here you go, champ

Likening the two is akin to likening schizophrenia to hearing impairment. Sure, they both affect what you hear but they are totally unrelated.

Both are disorders in which a person suffers from delusions.

We kowtow more for one than the other.

Both are in the DSM, hearing impairment is not, spud.

You ask a question and do not read the provided study that directly answers it. You are wasting my time by pretending to actually want answers.

Ugg.. this makes my head hurt.

So did women have such a bad year that glamour magazine needed to pick a man for woman of the year?
Jenner winning the espn courage award was bad enough but this is rediculous.

I'm sympathetic to the man's situation, but all this pc/pr crap is getting old. There are loads of women that have actually done something to inspire women and they were just slapped in the face by a public relations stunt.

Glamour didn't have to, they wanted to as it led to more magazine sales. They are a business. Makes complete sense to me.

I have a completely crazy guy lives down the street from me and can actually empathize for Jenner . No he (the guy down the street) is not in the same current going down this river of life but he is heading in the same direction or at least paddling that way . These kinds of people have issues that fall outside a sense of normal . imo Maybe I like to keep it simple in the she/he sense but why not .girl guy ,male female , up down . Not saying someone couldn't be turned upside down but I try to keep my feet on the ground . I almost fear to ask the question , "what next " . Hillary as president ? lol :>)

The children being exposed to all this must be EXTREMELY confused

No kidding. I am an adult and I am confused.

To me it is just...well, gross.

Just saying.
