If two gay parents had a heterosexual boy and wanted him to be gay, would it be abuse to send him somewhere to have "treatments" (mental OR physical) to discourage his attraction to girls and encourage his attractions to boys? Would ANY clinical engagement to change his sexuality to gay be considered abuse?

In America it should be their right as long as no real abuse is present.

Yeah, this is another indication of a need for education. Where do the VAST majority of gay kids come from? Straight homes. And NONE of the gay people I know have gay kids.

But I am surprised to know that you think it's OK to try to make some kid gay. I wasn't expecting that.

I did not say they would become gay I said indoctrinated

there is a difference

even if they remain straight the indoctrination comes in many forms and they would likely end up as not seeing any problems with their daddies behavior.

From what I understand of the Xq28 Chromosome it is partly responsible for the development of sexual orientation. I can not though determine the reason of why this particular set of DNA has been found to be significantly higher in homosexual males and females.

?Does this mean that those with less Xq28 have a greater choice as whom they feel most attracted to.

What I've read that's interesting is some gay parents can be harder on their kids to be straight then some straight parents.

Parents want what's best for their kids. Gays know what they've gone through. Some don't want their kids to be gay because they know how difficult it can be.

While some straight parents tend to be more PC and accepting, trying to do the right thing, but have not experienced the social pressures of being gay.

So, having gay parents does not mean they try to indoctrinate their kids. It might even be the reverse.
