The Deafness Before the Storm
On Aug. 6, 2001, President George W. Bush received a classified review of the threats posed by Osama bin Laden and his terrorist network, Al Qaeda. That morning’s “presidential daily brief” — the top-secret document prepared by America’s intelligence agencies — featured the now-infamous heading: “Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S.” A few weeks later, on 9/11, Al Qaeda accomplished that goal.

U.S. Intelligence Officials Warned President Bush of 9/11 Attack
U.S. intelligence officials warned President Bush weeks before the Sept. 11 attacks that Osama bin Laden's terrorist network might hijack American planes, but White House officials stressed the threat was not specific.
A White House official acknowledged to ABCNEWS that the information prompted administration officials to issue a private warning to transportation department and national security agencies weeks before the attacks. But, the official said the threat of a hijacking by bin Laden's al Qaeda organization was general in nature, did not mention a specific time or place and was similar to the variety of different terrorist threats U.S. intelligence monitors frequently.

Two Months Before 9/11, an Urgent Warning to Rice
On July 10, 2001, two months before the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, then-CIA Director George J. Tenet met with his counterterrorism chief, J. Cofer Black, at CIA headquarters to review the latest on Osama bin Laden and his al-Qaeda terrorist organization.
Black laid out the case, consisting of communications intercepts and other top-secret intelligence showing the increasing likelihood that al-Qaeda would soon attack the United States. It was a mass of fragments and dots that nonetheless made a compelling case, so compelling to Tenet that he decided he and Black should go to the White House immediately.
Tenet called Condoleezza Rice, then national security adviser, from the car and said he needed to see her right away. There was no practical way she could refuse such a request from the CIA director.
What Bush Knew Before Sept. 11
President Bush was told in the months before the Sept. 11 attacks that Osama bin Laden's terrorist network might hijack U.S. passenger planes - information which prompted the administration to issue an alert to federal agencies - but not the American public.
CBS News National Security Correspondent David Martin says the warning was in a document called the President's Daily Brief, which is considered to be the single most important document that the U.S. intelligence community turns out. The document did not, however, mention the possibility of planes being flown into buildings.
White House spokesman Ari Fleischer said that while President Bush was told last summer that bin Laden's al Qaeda network might hijack planes, "until the attack took place, I think it's fair to say that no one envisioned that [using planes as suicide bombs] as a possibility."
However, a federal report issued exactly two years before the Sept. 11 attacks contrasts with that statement.
The report, entitled the "Sociology and Psychology of Terrorism: Who Becomes a Terrorist and Why?," warned the executive branch that bin Laden's terrorists might hijack an airliner and dive bomb it into the Pentagon or other government building.
It described the suicide hijacking as one of several possible retribution attacks al Qaeda might seek for the 1998 U.S. airstrike against bin Laden's camps in Afghanistan.

New CIA Docs Show Bush Ignored Seven Different Warnings About Imminent Attacks
Over 120 CIA documents concerning 9/11, Osama bin Laden and counterterrorism were published today for the first time, having been newly declassified and released to the National Security Archive. The documents were released after the NSA pored through the footnotes of the 9/11 Commission and sent Freedom of Information Act requests.
Many of the documents publicize for the first time what was first made clear in the 9/11 Commission: The White House received a truly remarkable amount of warnings that al-Qaida was trying to attack the United States. From June to September 2011, a full seven CIA Senior Intelligence Briefs detailed that attacks were imminent, an incredible amount of information from one intelligence agency.

You always mention they were heavily loaded, sounds like you know more was on those planes than just everyday passengers, luggage, and fedex deliveries!
Yes 9-11 was an inside job there is no doubt about it it has been proven here on ATS countless times as well as abroad.

Maybe I'm a perfect example. I do NOT believe this guy. Period.
Nothing here convinces me that the Democrats who obviously loathed Bush, who appointed the left lawyers that sat on the panel investigating 9/11 wouldn't have jumped at the slightest hint of a Bush involvement. That's the biggest barrier I have to believing anything that suggests Bush involvement.
I consider myself a reasonably good judge of character. Bush wasn't the smartest guy out there, but he certainly wasn't and isn't a 'bad' guy either. IMO.
Could it have been an 'inside job' that didn't include Bush knowing about it? Not impossible.
I would point out, that a Presidential election is right around the corner and both sides are capable of stretching the envelope. Not everyone on Bush's staff were Bush supporters. Not much different than any Administration.
This guys comes out now??? Hello?? 14 years later? Just before a Presidential election? Those that buy it generally push the 'conspiracy theory tend to the left...and no, I don't buy into the "i'm not left, I'm an independent", crap out there either.
About as far as I can go with any scenario beyond the official version is that perhaps it was known about, or at least suspected and a segment within gov't allowed it to go through without exposing it. That's it. No further.
I don't expect agreement on this from many. It IS how I see it and may explain why there is such resistance to the conspiracy theory.
Keep crying wolf, conspiracy this conspiracy that, and people tend to rollover and go back to sleep....
I'm a little disapointed, i thought by now it would be common sense, at least on this corner of the internet, that 911 was an inside job.

Prove it with details, not speculation because it has been 14 years and still no inside job evidence. I want to know details of how it was done.
WTC 7 was brought down with demos FACT
If that is the case, you should have no trouble posting time lines in this video of WTC7 where demo explosions are heard. If you fail to post demo time lines in the video, I will make it a point to point out that you failed to post time lines depicting demo explosions in the following WTC7 video.
But we all ready had this discussion
Was it an inside job? Possibly, most people seem to believe it was, call it intuition.
I find these conspiracy theories regarding 9/11 tiring and pathetic.
And maybe , just maybe the truth will be disclosed in oh say 50 years when nobody will care.

There was no way the government could have carried out the attack and not get caught red-handed, but it seems that truthers have been ignoring the fact that intelligence warnings issued from around the world, have warned that Osama bin Laden and al-Qaeda would be responsible.
I also noticed that truthers have been ignoring al-Qaeda's martyr videos of the 9/11 hijackers as well.
