Ok gun nut may have been too harsh. But very fond of her firearms. The only confirmed nut is the shooter. I'm a foreigner, from a nation with stricter gun laws, but also no real gun crime. Despite earning my dual citizenship, I will never understand the gun love some people have. Mind you I have the same like of sharp objects so perhaps I do?

The thing is, I am pretty sure the kid was not a Jihardist in any way shape or form. Well an Islamic one. He appeared to be more spiritually aligned with my neopaganism than anything else. Which makes me uneasy, we've had a few more of our little corner of the spiritual world go off the rails of late. *shrug*

Also he listed himself as biracial, his dads from the UK/Ireland. Mom as far as I can tell has not been sighted yet, but is probably an upstanding US citizen.

It was another sick individual, who seemed to either crave the 15 minutues of fame this action will give him, or sicker still he was on a crusade only HE will understand.

Satanists really don't have covens. Sorry but that is a Wiccan thing more than anything else. I'm a neopagan, so I know a bit more than your average poster. He had an interest in the occult. He listed (on that dating site) the Left Hand Path (the path of self empowerment) as an interest. He also had interests in all things National Socialist, and had uploaded a book about the SS.

One of his blog posts or replies to a blog post (kick Ass Torrents has removed a LOT of his stuff), listed him as never having had a girlfriend. He did like girls, as his porn torrents showed.

I don't think he was in anything organised period. He was just a sick kid. One who should have been no where near guns! No I am not saying change the laws, but honestly he should not have been allowed a weapon, he clearly could not handle the inherent responsibility, and duty owning one has.

I am NOT saying he was a member of the Temple of Set. However that satanist group (well Setian, but lets not get into the differences) is very conservative, was founded by a member of the Military Intelligence Community ( Michael A. Aquino who has posted on here). His father I think was Irish (republican or not I don't know, hell he might be totally secular and the Kid decided he was picking a side to idolize with the IRA) .

All these points really mean is it is possible to be a "conservative" and a "Satanist" and "a mass murder". Its called being a human. We're all more than our labels.

Yes! This is exactly what I keep thinking too.

But that would not fall neatly into the liberal agenda.

It is beater for them to compare the US to Luxembourg, because the numbers look better.

The truth is that over all crime is lower in the US than almost all of the other major European countries. I will completely agree you are more likely to get shot in the US, but more likely to get robbed, mugged or knife in Europe.


That being said it is also more likely you will be run over by a drunk driver, slip in the bathtub or die of a heart attack in the US then be shot, but then again why talk about facts.

I have not seen any credible source for this as of yet. I'm sure a whole lot of people would love to hear this, but to the best of my knowledge there has been no solid connection at this point. He (the shooter) was known to collect nazi memorabilia (which is likely where this alleged association stems from), but there has been no concrete proof of affiliation with any supremist groups one way or the other at this point

Now, this alleged manifesto / message he passed along to one of the students may contain some insight into this subject, but this document, while confirmed by authorities, has so far been withheld.

I've heard about the Nazi memorabilia detail earlier,...but I took that to mean he was a socialist who hated Jews as much as he hated Christians. Last I heard, Nazi's were 'National Socialists'.
