Why are you copying and repeating your comments?

Most of the ridicule stems from intentionally set up smokescreens for this very purpose. Anything to distract from too much focus on all the dots to connect and "coincidences."

On a side note, I want to slap Bill Maher every time he dismisses the inside job thing, which though he has never said it, leads one to believe he buys the OS hook, line, and sinker. This attitude of his probably stems from his irrational fear of Muslims though. Oh well, we all have something that we're irrational about.

a reply to: Informer1958. Yeah, the bathtub. It did absolutely nothing to the Towers in regards to fire protection. It ringed the entire "block" and ensured that the water table, stayed OUT of the buildings. It was also deep enough to have pretty much contained all of the building debris had any of the buildings truly fallen into their own "footprints"

The way I feel about is this:

It has been 14 years and all of the theorizing has accomplished nothing. Maybe it's time to let it go.

It's no different than the JFK conspiracy theories... even if you claimed to have definitive proof, it wouldn't change a damn thing.

a reply to: Informer1958. Yes. When they use cables to pull down a building, as was done with what was left of WTC 5.

Amazing how you just happened to 'type' the exact same comment.

You are right that we discuss historical events, JFK and 911, and today we cannot change what happened in the past.

But some of us have a certain intellectual curiosity that forces us to try to find the truth. Maybe we are wannabes for Sherlock Holmes?

a reply to: MotherMayEye. I watched it too. I also corresponded with the man who WAS in charge that day. Silverstein, still did not have an answer from his insurance company over what to do with 7 when it collapsed. "Pull it" was pulling the FDNY Engine unit out of the building because of collapse fears. Or are you calling the FDNY liars too?

You corresponded with the man who was in charge of what?

And, it was evident in photos, that the WTC steel structures were not encased in concrete.

If they look hard enough, they might find where the trillions of dollars has been spent, and they will also understand that because of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, the cost to the United States over the next three decades may exceed $6 trillion.

That is not a good excuse to concoct a false flag operation.

FDNY Chief Daniel Nigro. The man who made the call to pull the firefighters out of 7.

Here is a letter from Chief Daniel Nigro.

FDNY Chief Daniel Nigro

Regarding WTC 7: The long-awaited US Government NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) report on the collapse of WTC 7 is due to be published at the end of this year (although it has been delayed already a few times [ adding fuel to the conspiracy theorists fires!]). That report should explain the cause and mechanics of the collapse in great detail. Early on the afternoon of September 11th 2001, following the collapse of WTC 1 & 2, I feared a collapse of WTC 7 (as did many on my staff).

The reasons are as follows:

1 - Although prior to that day high-rise structures had never collapsed, The collapse of WTC 1 & 2 showed that certain high-rise structures subjected to damage from impact and from fire will collapse.

2. The collapse of WTC 1 damaged portions of the lower floors of WTC 7.

3. WTC 7, we knew, was built on a small number of large columns providing an open Atrium on the lower levels.

4. numerous fires on many floors of WTC 7 burned without sufficient water supply to attack them.

For these reasons I made the decision (without consulting the owner, the mayor or anyone else - as ranking fire officer, that decision was my responsibility) to clear a collapse zone surrounding the building and to stop all activity within that zone. Approximately three hours after that order was given, WTC 7 collapsed.

Conspiracy theories abound and I believe firmly that all of them are without merit.

Regards, Dan Nigro
Chief of Department FDNY (retired)

WTC7 is usually what I bring up when people want to talk about how I should wear a tin foil hat. To me, if even one of the events are unexplainable, than the rest must be questioned as well. Supposedly the building fell due to fires and debris that fell on it. I'm not sure how a fire and debris caused equal damage all throughout the building to make it fall symmetrically. If pieces fell on it, on one side or the other, or a corner, than that is the damaged area, and there is no way the entire building is going to collapse into itself. By watching any footage of the fall of WTC7 it's obvious that the very top comes down before the rest of the building, the fire wasn't up there...so wtf? The top falls in and the rest of the building follows. Not only that, it's extremely easy to find all the videos of people being interviewed talking about bombs. I'm not talking about after the fact...I'm talking about the same day, as it's happening. This was news reporters, fire fighters, people who were actually there.

I'm curious as to who originally received this letter. A quick search just shows it has been copied and posted by many across the internet, but no original recipient.

Also, I'd still like to see cardinalfan's personal correspondence.

a reply to: 2wheelvet Well, WTC 7 wasn't symmetric. FDNY was watching pieces of the South side of the building falling off all afternoon. The "top" collapsing first, indicates a failure in the structure underneath it.....which pretty much corresponds to the area of the heaviest damage reported by the FDNY.

Well fly to Ames, Iowa and drop by. You can read the letter. But it does not contain much more than the email that skyeagle posted.

Ah ha! I did find the source/NONSOURCE of this letter. Source/NONSOURCE of Nigro's letter published on ATS:

"this was an E-mail obtained by a member at the JRef forum and validated by a moderator there."

Wow. No name. No name for the moderator who "validated" the source.

THIS is what OSers deem as credible evidence? And you THINK Truthers are prone to believing untrustworthy information? I can't believe this letter has made its way around the internet and debunking forums as if it was unimpeachable truth!

Just. Wow.

Thanks for the insight!
