Ok, so you guys want a solution from Christianity, here it is...and it will never be implemented because we do not control the world:

1).Accept and process all women, children, elderly and sick into Europe and USA on the conditions that they work, pay taxes and learn the local language.

2). Process all fighting age males that are in good health, train them, arm them, and send them back to Syria to fight under Assad. Give them the fighting chance to reclaim their homes.

This will never be done. Why, because these days elected officials dont do their jobs. They don't listen and dont care.

And Christians don't have the power to save the world.

ETA:

And do all this at the expense of Western tax payers who can barely afford to feed themselves, much less find a steady job.

Not to mention because of the illegals, the legal workers find themselves either working at a depressed rate or out of work. Illegals lower the wage floor for everyone.

Hey, if you want to actually HELP the immigrants, then by all means, I'm game. I just don't support blindly labeling all or most immigrants as criminals that aren't worth helping.

Who in the hell said that?

There are MANY people who are saying that. I haven't called anyone out in this thread specifically though.

Those aren't Christian solutions. A Christian solution would be just accepting these people into your country, no questions asked.

The OP blamed Christians.

No, he said that people who are calling themselves Christians should not be behaving in a way that clearly contradicts what Christ taught. If they want to behave that way, they ought not to call themselves Christians.

I like helping those who respect the law first and foremost. Then we can discuss helping others. Generally, I've found that people who respect the law make the best neighbors and are most likely to get on their feet and turn around and offer a hand while you continue helping.

And what if we literally can't. What if we have no money because socialists are gradually taking our earnings and rights away????

That is an invented issue. You literally CAN do what I said regardless of what you think Socialism is doing to your paycheck.

I agree. I do not want anyone Illegal working. For those that are here and already working. Provide them a 3 or 5 year work visa so they can continue working legally in their current jobs right after we secure the border.

Massive fines for companies that employ anyone not a citizen or has a work visa after that.

Mandatory renewal of Visa and deportation of anyone who commits violent crimes while on their Visa.

Apply for citizenship if desired after that 3-5 year timeframe and must meet criteria for citizenship.

Border must be secured. Those here working must be "legalized" and the system put in place must prevent the exploitation of Illegal labor going forward.

(Workers and contributors stay (the majority), exploiters and criminals go)

Render unto Caesar.

Caesar has laws.

Once we follow those laws and they are here legally. Then we can talk.

We are the RICHEST nation on the planet in terms of lifestyle. There is plenty to go around (or WOULD BE, if the 1% weren't hoarding it all).

And a question for those of you calling them "illegals" - they are PEOPLE. If you were starving, and your child was starving, would you steal a loaf of bread for them? No? "Well, they're criminals." Yes, they are because they were FORCED to break the law in order to survive.

Good Gawd the WHINING!!!!

And those most certainly are Christian solutions, because the OT required all able fighting age males to fight off invaders.

Don't call us hypocrites and then reject our solutions. I haven't seen anyone esle offer a realistic solution.

But I just showed that besides the illegal immigrant thing, these people ARE respecting the laws. So, really, your only hangup is them breaking the law to come into the country, but once they are here they are productive members of our society.

That's cool. I'm not surprised that you guys are inventing excuses not to help these people. It's YOUR religion. Y'all are the ones who are going to look like hypocrites in it, not me.

The illegals aren't the cause for the lower wages. Employers are the cause for that because their greed overrides loyalty to their nation.

Levitus 19:33
And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him.

34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

And here's little something that Jesus said about fleeing the homeland.

Matthew 24
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand

16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
