I have worked with agencies that assist asylum seekers settle here in the U.K and in all fairness the stories I have heard and scars I have seen would make you weep, if you had an ounce of compassion running through you.

It is an E.U problem, because they are arriving on European shores. Christ it's difficult enough for them to navigate their way across the Mediterranean, let alone the Atlantic.

I too have worked training immigrants, and most of the storys were about how they lied to get money and how they have accounts in off shore banks. Yes some did suffer unbelievable things but most were con men just after the good life and money.

Then you would know that many thousands of asylum applications are refused as their application is deemed to be a pack of lies.
You have no clue about who was telling the truth or not. Your experience is kind of irrelevant in this discussion about those being picky about which safe nation they wish to claim asylum in.

Thats why I don't work for the immigration people .
I'm glad there are more hard faced people than me working there.
But come on they are not all hardened criminals some may lie to attempt to get a better life for their kids...wouldn't we all do that?.

For people who have been so wronged by the big bad West, they sure aren't scared to come here. In fact, they are willing to risk their lives to come live with the same people who are supposedly blowing them up.
