I am old enough to remember the 60 Minutes exposes; the in depth talk fests of Phil Donahue; the Love Canal, Agent Orange; Karen Silkwood; etc, etc...so many "outings" by those who penetrated the veneer of "we say it's legal, so it is " at great risk to themselves. Whistleblowers all. Who took on chemical companies, the nuclear industry, pesticides, car companies. Now, in this generation , if it's not a "politically correct, approved by the left" revelation, well it's not so, because it doesn't conveniently fit the "meme" and NOT what we've been told (by the deep thinkers of our time--like Nancy Pelosi) well then the MESSENGER must be a liar, sham artist...and, and...did you hear the latest about the Dentist and the lion?

You're the one who claims to know everything.
Have you ever been wrong?
(I doubt it)

MediaMatters is another excellent source.
Funded by George Soros.
Can't argue with success they say.
Media Matters, with all its alleged faults, is heads above most of the tripe on the internet. What is takes is to start there and then do some digging on your own, from ALL perspectives, and compare, and then apply some common sense.
The National Abortion Federation filed suit against the anti-abortion group in federal court on Friday, asking that it be temporarily barred from releasing any more videos they may have "illegally obtained" using the fake IDs at NAF events.
"In order to circumvent the very necessary security precautions NAF has in place, CMP engaged in a long-running illegal conspiracy," the group said in a statement. "They set up a fake company and sent fake employees of that company with fake identities to misrepresent themselves and gain access to NAF’s annual meetings and member facilities that provide abortion care. They signed agreements with NAF that prohibited the activities they have engaged in, obviously with no intention of honoring those agreements."
The Huffington Post reported that the anti-abortion group may have also illegally deceived the IRS by applying for tax-exempt status as a biomedicine charity.

Aghhh...there's the "R" word. The "D" words say Planned Parenthood is okey dokey--so they must be. Let's follow the labels and NEVER think for ourselves...because Nancy Pelosi et al say it's so.
There really are a handful of "Rs" and possibly a few "Ds" who might actually look into this ghoulish desecration of the unborn...the rest are too busy polling to see if the "Dentist" should be extradited or anxiously awaiting an Obama post card from the Vineyard.

The progressive check their facts and find experienced people in the field being discussed to comment. The conservatives use corporate mouthpieces and unverified facts.
There are a couple of good well written and researched conservative magizines and the Nation carries well written, researched and fact checked pieces across the political spectrum and has done so for 150 years. The interent gave everyone a voice - very few who are worth the effort to listen.

As is Democracy Now.
You know how I tell a 'progressive' article or piece from a 'conservative'? The progressive check their facts and find experienced people in the field being discussed to comment. The conservatives use corporate mouthpieces and unverified facts.

Nice try, but earlier generations "questioned" authority. "Spoke truth to power" and would NOT collectively roll over because "politicians" told then so...
I would hazard to guess as many PRO-ABORTION Congressional Reps and U.S. Senators receive campaign donations from Planned Parenthood CURRENTLY as did their earlier counterparts receive campaign funding from the makers of Agent Orange or big pharma (thalidomide ring a bell?)
Follow the money...now and back then. IF clandestine ops hadn't been done to expose previous WRONGS we would live in a much, much different world.

I believe you pointedly asked me WHY Senate Republicans weren't acting upon starting an investigation?
I don't care for the "labels" myself. I prefer to see how they actually vote once in DC...not the letter after their name. For the most part they collectively are a "uniparty."
And if you cannot make the leap from past journalistic exposes of blatant lies and horrific
wrong doing and see that the videos being released are done in the same investigative mindset, then you really need to see if there are any updates on Cecil or the latest doings of Kimye...

Who needs an investigation? Apparently not the US Senate, or more appropriately, the Republicans in charge of same.
