Ever see a bunch of civil, law abiding, well mannered, well armed, 40hr a week employed, religiously Abrahamic affiliated, teetering on a breaking point already lose their cool when they can't get to their (TAKES HARD WORK and sacrifice) money and their kids start going hungry?

I view Jade Helm as a shake down cruise, with the self-serving "elite" testing certain capabilities prior their perceived need to roll-out heavy handed martial law, sooner or later somewhere in America.

While I agree with your broad analysis, I think the discussion is on the context and scale. It still may give indications to future military endeavours I.E. future interest with larger powers. While I admire your up front logic approach I don't think everything should be dismissed in that manner, especially dealing with out government. My fool me once motto goes a bit different than Bush's.

I totally agree with you. It is highly doubtful that US Soldiers would follow orders to fire on US Citizens.
Unless... maybe... they might, if it was something like World War Z ?

I think it is smart for them to do this training exercise. There are serious threats against out country. Terrorists, Russia, China, North Korea, etc. You never know if something could spill onto US soil. Other countries no longer consider the US to be strong, so why not invade? They might think the end result would be worth more to them than if they just nuked us.

So, let the military be as prepared as possible.

I predict we will have go to work , pay bills, and taxes read a few post on ATS about something that is about to happen in regards to marshal law , and when its over a few threads will be created how it was all suppressed.

My military son believes they're preparing to fight ISIS on our own soil. Whether it's legit info or propaganda, the story floating around is that there have been numerous pockets of homegrown ISIS supporters uncovered.

Jade Helm is and E&E exercise. People will be dropped off in "enemy" territory and told they have to make it to X point for safety. "Enemy" forces will be looking for any sign of them. Basically if they are found they are dead. So most people will have no idea the exercise is going on. And if the Pentagon did not announce these things publicly (which would be pretty dump if its was a secret plan) nobody would have been the wiser.

what countries have the geography (land conditions,terrain) climate, that these seven states have?
what, (i'll give you a hint here) three countries are just 89,572 sq miles larger than these seven states, although one has droped out?

the seven states to together are 967,862. if my math and i looked them up is right.
AZ. 113,998
CA. 163696
CO. 104185
NM. 121697
NV.110567
TX. 268820
UT. 84899
the three countries i'm talking about are 1,057434 in sq miles. we have been or currently have troops in two of them, and SOP have operated in two of these.

if you have figured it out yet, look at pictures of them, areas of them are very similar to areas of these seven states with small towns scattered although them.

give up? Iraq, Iran , Afghanistan.

No worries, these guys are already on the case... Counter Jade Helm exercise. Some more information here. It's being labeled as a 'counter insurgency exercise' for citizens. Following around troops in an active scenario, let alone reporting their locations via third party means seems like a one way ticket to somewhere... unsavory.

Oh god. I can already see where that's going. Some idiot "citizen journalist" is going to pry his way into the exercise, get rightly detained, and people will jump ALL over it as some sign that martial law is coming.

I think people's lives these days revolve around movies and hype so much so, they're always waiting for the next big event to take place, so they can fear more and imagine more death and chaos because? I have no idea why anyone would want to imagine destruction and doom in the waking world. And we all know the world is made of a non physical substance so why in hells name would you want to create more of it? Everything we watch on TV and in the MOVIES is driven towards either Hate, Destruction, Evil, Anger, Fear, and Cowardess, which if you dont know is the opposite of Manning up. etc etc etc. I personally want the world to implode but, alas it probably won't simply because i 'want' it to.
