When you're being brutally attacked all the victim thinks about is survival, uniform is irrelevant, every Human has a right to self defense and no damn uniform changes that
Very good point. Many people do not want think about it in these terms.
Their job is to treat everyone with the same rights and dignity as a CITIZEN, innocent until proven guilty by a COURT.

Yes you have the right to defend yourself. But not the freedom to do so when those words "you are under arrest" are spoken.Actually , you do have the freedom to resist arrest. Except you have the consequences to face when doing so....

I don't know what happened before, couldn't see the guy that was getting beat so I'm not saying a thing about the actual beating. I just hope there won't be riots over this.

Anonymous response In August 2011, the Internet activist group Anonymous demanded that the officers involved be prosecuted, the Fullerton Police Chief resign, and that Thomas's family be awarded US$5 million in compensation;
They threatened to shut down the Fullerton municipal website if their demands were not met.
In January 2014, after the police officers involved were acquitted, Anonymous released their personal addresses,
as well as the identities of the jurors.
On January 18 and 19, Anonymous took down several websites belonging to or run by Fullerton police and municipality.[

A lot of this stems from the times people live in. They are against authority, period. In some cases it is difficult not to agree with them. In some cases , though , it is a matter of I am not going to let someone tell me what to do or not to do. Back in my time a lot of us believed the same way. However , we had peaceful protests. Thats what it is all about, The manner in which your disdain for some of these acts are displayed.Do I need to refresh people's memories of great people around the world that changed this world for the better with a non-violent approach ?

You amongst others have a bias and dont know the law or policies law enforcement abids by. Its easy to preface videos with titling to steer opinion. Learn the state statutes on use of force designated for law enforcement to affect an arrest and then research the non lethal general orders by LEO departments, then post. Otherwise your uneducated view is just that, ignorant.

Will hold judgement on this as well. I dont know why the police were involved in the beginning .What I apparently do see is the person struggling against the police till the end. Even Rodney King admitted he should have been more compliant during the arrest.

No . I was actually locked up for about 2 hrs once upon a time due to a friend. I gave him a ride home .On the way we were pulled over and he dropped the drugs he had in my car. I went along with the police , my friend signed a sworn statement that I had not known , and I was free again with no record. Thats the way that should go...Now after that "false arrest" I felt I was open to say what I pleased...
I've been arrested thirty three times. Don't let anyone tell you
that you should've done anything different. You did exactly what
you should've done. Period.
But even after words you should just keep your mouth shut.
They know where you live and like a pit bull. They can make decisions
that aren't in your best interest. You might as well play russian roulette
if your going to smart off to the cops. I know it's not right. But obviously,
self preservation is righteous.
