I've seen many people and doctors say it won't hurt you. At any rate I doubt any field in the us is based completely on science. In some form or another they all have politics and big business involved, and I know you don't believe that this doesn't affect the outcomes.

Which doctors have told you that?
Did they finish their sentence with "but it can have more serious complications"?
I bet they did.
