From the article:
Asked for an example, she said: “It could be for example, as we’ve seen, sadly Isil are extremely intolerant of homosexuality.”
Pressed on whether if a child said they believed homosexuality was “evil” or “wrong” that teachers might consider them a “danger”, she replied: “It could trigger a thought, it would depend very much on the context in which that was being discussed.
“But teachers would discuss it as they do already when they are concerned about children who are at risk of perhaps being drawn into a gang or being exploited or being neglected at home.
“This is a safeguarding issue.”
I'm curious, OP ... did you actually read the articleofor take the title as your point-of-departure?
LOL, you must be unfamiliar with the "zero tolerance" laws.
Damn kids can get in trouble if they point their finger. (looks like a gun). Do you think this will be any different once implemented?
Kids a hater, needs mental help, jail the parents.
Progressive insanity never ends.

Damn right! They are preaching insanity if they think they can legislate, force, impose and "cure" opinion. It almost sounds like they want...oh, I don't know...to TELL everyone what their opinion must be. Is that possible? Is that legal? Personally...I think it is an abomination and probably the end of mankind if we allow ANYONE to tell us our opinions. We might as well be dead. How can YOU be YOU without what you think and believe? How can you be anything except for a robotic slab of meat without what you believe? Unless that is the goal.

Whilst i think that the topic of the op IS ridiculous, you dont do your arguments any favours with hyperbole like "the end of mankind"

ironic since according to APA (American Psychiatry Association) former president, Dr. Cummings, MANY gays have reversed their homosexual lifestyle through therapy and become straight…and this is being hidden, as is the connection between sexual abuse as children as well as other social difficulties as children, and the cause of many instances of homosexuality:
Gay science is all fake, how gays control psychology

The is one huge oversight in this: the parents.
In what world does a child 'inherit' homophobia? Children are impressionable and I doubt that intolerance is a genetic trait. We are now living in a world where kids have to be taught about domestic violence, racism and homophobia. How do kids know about these things? because they hear or see their parents commit these acts.
They say that education starts at home and the kids shouldn't be held accountable for what they absorb after the school day is done. The parents need schooling too.
Why is there so much hatred toward those who oppose gay marriage?
calling anti-homosexuality subscribers bigots among other things.
No, they aren't anything, they just disagree with your point.

I don't get it.
I thought the pro-gay debate revolved around love and acceptance.
Why is there so much hatred toward those who oppose gay marriage?
All i can hear from their side of the argument right now - in simple english, is "why don't you believe what we believe?", calling anti-homosexuality subscribers bigots among other things.
No, they aren't anything, they just disagree with your point. Deal with it. Your inability to accept another view demonstrates a problem with your way of thinking more than anything else.

Correct, we are not done.. I've spoken about this in so many topics, but i'll reiterate. we still need Federal Protection, 31 states can fire a GLBTQ+ person, can deny services and housing. we still have Blood Donations, Adoption, Property. on top of the Violence abuse and Death GLBTQ+ People receive.
so you are correct, we are not Equal yet, but the fight continues
