Me too.

I try and distract myself until I find another by helping out the less fortunate in my neighborhood. Just helped a kid build his first vegetable garden a month or so ago and that made me feel better and like I was contributing. I have a bunch of temperamental tropical patio plants that I express my nurturing side to as a surrogate.

It's funny when you are single I think you are in a more romantic mindset because you spend all that time fantasizing about all the romantic things you would do if you had a chance. Sigh.

Yeah she and I broke up in 2008 or so. Actually, she just stopped coming around. I'd met her when I lived in another state and then had to move. She came down to visit for a while, had family trouble (her mom died), other stuff happened, and she never came back.
