during the 89' quake in the San Francisco bay area, our street light pole out in front of my house was swaying 6 to 7 feet side to side, I went outside and watch it for over 30 seconds. I'm 70 miles due east of the bay area and northeast of the epicenter, I had a few inside wall cracks, and some of the door jams are a little off center. that was the year that the Giants were in the world series versus the A's....browned up my nicest pair of BVD's that day, and I started drinking seagrams crown royal, because I realized I never will know when my time is up.

I know the date rang a bell... That site has a San Andreas big one predicted to happen in a bit more than 22 hours from now. I wonder if they are associated in some way... If not, this adds a little credence to the story. What if we are capable of accurate predictions but the public doesn't know. If you knew the BIG ONE was coming and likely a Global killer would you tell everyone, and let everyone die after days of terror and chaos, or rather let them stay ignorant and die blissfully unaware of it's impending doom until the final moments... The latter sounds best to me. Sure those in the know will retreat to their bunkers to try and survive, surely some info would leak and we would deny it's truth and call them crazy... just, what if

we all know what "what if" can lead to so believe or don't it is up to you after all

We all know it's a matter of when, not if. I hate it when these prophets paint their soap boxes doom porn red. When people are pulling children from the rubble will he be brave enough to say "I told you so?"

There is no doubt that it could happen; perhaps in the next perigee. But fear mongering doesn't help. All the people can do is prepare and know what to do when the worst comes.

He's a bit late in the day for predictions, different groups, organisations have been saying that the San Andreas Fault is 'locked and loaded' for a while now, unless they read Nostradamas too.
