I don't disagree but my main objection to that is that we really don't get the consensus. I think its pretty obvious that we don't get to see the other drawings or hear all the children, just a select few.

There could be many reasons why, it doesn't mean these particular kids or drawings is cherry picking.

@5:50 we hear her first interview with Cynthia. Again, based on her description here, I think the eyes mutated over the 2 months

Her description is the same, I don't see a significant difference. Big black eyes. How she draws them shouldn't be an indication of being disingenuous. In fact, her rendition of the eyes on the chalk board shows she's trying to show they're like wrap-around eyes. I get what she meant by the drawing.

Could this have been something to do with the appropriation of white owned commercial farms by the Mugabe regime. Was this the beginning, like some sort of threat to the kids? Things certainly kicked off a little after this sighting, I bet most of those kids don't live in Ruwa these days.

I'm not too familiar with the history of that area but I have heard some speculation around that. All I can get from the story is that there was someone with long hair dressed in black with big eyes or sunglasses staring at children. From that I would think that the adults would be more alarmed but it is interpreted by the child psychiatrist as benevolent space aliens trying to save the world? I really don't think that would fly in my part of the world. Just say'n.

It was around then that the government started pushing to take over first white owned farms then business. The so called alien was black, well that fits with one of Mugabe's henchmen sent to intimidate, maybe with hair in dreds and large aviator style glasses on. The kids might have seen the first of the assault on white owned business that saw most of the farms cleared of whites, then business too. Something that was just starting, even the teachers hadn't experienced the anti British/Colonial propaganda that was about to be unleashed on a post colonial minority. Just a theory but it sort of fits.

In the videos with Cynthia, she is sorting through the drawings and creating two separate piles from that. Why? There are a lot of problems with the pictures anyway. We don't really know what the kids were told to draw. We don't know which kid drew which picture. As actual data or evidence, it doesn't mean a whole lot.

As far as the eyes, all the eyes are drawn round initially. I would be really interested if there was a drawing prior to Mack where the eyes were elongated. Still the eyes are noteworthy I admit.

Also, the "creature" was 100 meters away. Is it even possible to distinguish sunglasses from big eyes at that distance?

Every kid has remained consistent with the story, none of admitted it a hoax, all of them had identical descriptions while being forced to re-tell their experience by being separated, 62 witnesses... hmm... people still don't believe, huh?

"But but but, how do we not know that they didn't tell them what to draw? And pictures don't look THAT similar... and HOW DID THE LITTLE GIRL KNOW WHAT THE APOCALYPSE IS?! I smell a hoax"

Yeah... uh huh... right. I'm sure the fools that post ignorant stuff like what I said above are the same ones that believe the Illuminati is building the NWO and placing citizens in FEMA camps with false flag illnesses.

This is simply unexplainable unless there is indisputable evidence or proof that this was an elaborate hoax.

Unfortunately we don't know a whole lot about the drawings. I really wish that I knew more about them like which kid drew what and when and how old they were. Just a little context would be nice. I am also very curious about the rest. Maybe its just me but I like my alien investigations to be thorough. If you or anyone else has any more details, that would be great.

Well, I guess that is possible. I haven't really considered that.

It wasn't a hoax. kids got scared by something and then the adults came in and said what they got scared from was real. Which is a slight twist on how it usually goes.

Thank you for posting this update. I recently wondered what happened to these children since 1994 and if they would ever be seen or heard from again.

Thanks for bringing this fascinating case up again. I've heard/watched/read about this case several years ago.

Out of the thousands of alien cases I've heard about and studied, the Zimbabwe 'school aliens' case remains the most intriguing case ever to me. It is also a great example of a case that proofs once again that not all old fascinating alien cases are actually commonly known yet. Of course this case doesn't proof anything extraterrestrial and there are still just as many questions you can ask about this case as you would with any other case, but by the way these young children explained what they saw in an extremely 'pure' and trustworthy way, is enough for me already to make this case the best alien case ever.

I share many of Zeta's criticisms. I'd really love to see much more of the 20 years later interviews, as I suspect that's where a lot of answers are, with the hindsight of a mature mind. However, there's only like one minute out of 9 that covers this. (and I've seen the other 8 minutes before).

It is a great case, always has been (and I likely did a long thread on it years ago, lol)....but there is a really good chance that a) the kids misinterpreted what they saw, and b) their recollections may have morphed over time. Still, these later interviews could shed light on what they were told to draw, etc.

It is a really interesting case for a number of reasons. For one we get to examine John Mack in action which is rare. I know I have been critical of the case but I don't want to come off as "debunking" it ... I know that's too late but... there is not a lot of "debunker" explanations out there. I always hear "hoax" or "mass hysteria" as the go to explanations but neither of those can be really supported. I think its pretty clear that they saw something and got scared. There certainly is some interesting descriptions of the shape of the object, the lights and the eyes. There also is definitely some issues with the distance and how some of the details are described. Memory will distort over time and be influenced by others. That's a given no matter what the situation. It may not be entirely Mack's fault that some of the descriptions changed since they had a couple of months to "remember" the details but the "telepathy" leaves me scratching my head.

Ariel Documentary is being made. The video can be viewed here. If someone knows how to imbed it, please do.

disputing this one is akin
to yelling "Keep your UFO's
off my lawn because I don't believe
they're real."

Just watched the video and I agree where is the rest of the 20 years after interview footage?? Seems almost like a trailer for a doc which would have been fine by me, it is one of the best cases ever.

I think something did happen and it's covered up, such as follow up investigation checking for landing marks and radiation. Possible military sighting of the craft too. I'm guessing they couldn't cover up all the children so the actual investigation and confirmation of the event is covered up. The story from the teachers and children will be up for public debate...knowing that people won't buy into it.

Anyone know if an actual investigation occurred besides the psychiatrist talking with the children?

Cynthia Hind did the investigation 2 months before Mack. There were soil samples sent for analysis. Its in the PDF links I posted on page 2 or 3

Thanks, found it and taking a look at both.

One thing I just realized about this case is the description of the craft sounds like a classic UFO encounter. Which is interesting because you always hear debunkers saying, "Don't you think it's interesting how UFO crafts have evolved over the years? Maybe it's really are own, or sci fi movies and television evolving therefor so are UFO stories..." Well this is a case that you can't say that about.

I remember when this happened back then. It made the news and most MSM. They interviewed the kids over and over and said none were shown to be lying or embellishing what they reportedly saw.
