The real deceiver is Man, most wouldn't know the truth if it bit them on their BUTT!

Ones Mans truth is another Mans lie. Perspective is after all a female dog.

Shades of grey and all that jazz.

One possible answer to that particular perspective could be the "Holographic Principle". If proven to be correct, which could quite possibly be achievable should we managed to measure the individual Planck unit(The technology to do just that is possibly only 5-10 years distant), no wonder light is deceptive considering reality could be in illusion.

God is not the deceiver, man is. They stole God's role and turned him into a being that demands praise, worship, and sacrifice. The true God doesn't need any of that, the true God has all he needs already and that is creation and experience of that creation. We are the expressions of God, we are the universe experiencing itself. All we need is already here ands all has already been revealed, it's only a matter of people realizing it.

God’s love for you is an eternal love. It is filled with unfailing care and mercy. He does not say, “I will love you,” but “I have loved you with an everlasting love.”

“We love, because He first loved us” (1 John 4:19).

How do we know such an awesome fact is true?

“In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for my sins” (v. 10). There has never been a time, or even a moment, when He did not love you.

Nothing but the love of God could accomplish such an amazing feat.

He loved us and sent His son to be the “propitiation for our sins.” God’s holiness is satisfied, and His wrath is turned away from us because of what Jesus did for us on our behalf. God’s justice has now been satisfied because His perfect, sinless Son paid our debt in full.

God keeps saying over and over again to us, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have drawn you with loving-kindness.” I love you and I have demonstrated that love once and forever in the death of My Son on your behalf.

The Holy Spirit spreads abroad through the heart this amazing love of God which is given to us and then we love Him with all our heart.

We never understand God’s love for us until He appears to us in that demonstration of His grace. By nature we are dead to the presence of God.

We are in no condition to apprehend His love until God reveals Himself. We cannot see God and His love until God the Holy Spirit removes the scales off our spiritual eyes.

Our heart is dead to any movement of God’s grace until the Holy Spirit changes us. Our conversion or new birth is the work of the Spirit. It is a divine operation. Man cannot do it. True knowledge of the love of God is a divine work.

God says to us, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have drawn you with lovingkindness.”

Does your heart swell up with gratitude of a million, “Thank you”?

God says, “I have drawn you with lovingkindness.” His arms are always outstretched and reaching down to us even when we were spiritually dead and unaware of it.

His love and grace is patient with us.

If God always has mercy then why is he not merciful to those sent to hell? It's within his power to grant them mercy but he chooses not to. Why?

"Do you include the texts of religion in that, such as the Bible, as being misinterpretations of God?"

All books and/or religious texts that claim to hold the word of God/Gods are a product of Man. Written with all his fallibility's and insecurity at play. There is exactly no evidence to suggest God or the Gods had any hand what so ever regarding these religious texts existence.

"Or do you mean that people misinterpret the Bible, which is actually the word of god?"

People dont just misinterpret the Bible, the very book was constructed in such a way as to control the very people who maintain a belief and worship the religious ideology in the first place, old testament and new.

I agree on both counts. I just wanted to clarify what you meant.

This is why mystics across the ages, of all religions, say we must go within and experience it ourselves. That we all have a doorway within, that is clouded by the materialistic and dualistic nature of the mind, that by going within we can cleanse the mirror, open the door, and experience God or universal energy for ourselves. This is the very meaning of gnosis.

The same goes for these texts. Even if one of these texts was relatively accurate, and written by a sage who had accessed the truth, without personal gnosis neither you nor I would be able to comprehend the true meaning of the texts beyond a basic intellectual level. Only a personal, transcendental experience will do it. Language and words are inadequate even between the enlightened to truly convey the greater truths.

I have no idea what you consider hell. The fire and brimstone or "Separation from God"?

The wages of sin is death.

I don't know what happens to those who do not choose Yashua. I will not pretend to know what the final plan is.

Will they get another chance during the 1000 years of God on Earth? Will they then get to see what life is like with God vs. Sin and wickedness? No idea.

Will they just die in sin? Oblivion after judgement?

I do not know the answer to the final plan for those who openly reject Yashua's sacrifice.

Man created god in his own image through religion. In this, religion is the most destructive social cancer humans have constructed to inflict on our world. It creates the disease and sells us the antidote at great cost, demanding nothing less than the complete surrender of your whole being. Calling this "free will" is the most transparent control mechanism known to man.
When will people wake up to the fact that religious books were written by men as a control mechanism? These books should be viewed as historical fiction and at the very least, a lesson on controlling the masses. Research has shown that reward/punishment religions are losing their grip on the worlds population today. People aren’t as dumb or easily swayed as they used to be thousands of years ago, they actually have reasoning powers and can see through the utter nonsense of organised control systems like religion.

Maybe god is waiting for us to take care of evil, feeding the hungry, nothing stopping people from sheltering the homeless, or clothing the naked, or visiting the sick,

I asked the same question myself, why does god allow suffering.

Well why the hell do I allow it?

I always thought God was a teacher and a bringer of light, but then I had a dark math teacher that didn't teach me anything...And God didn't help me there, or telepathically send me the answers so I could of cheated in my dark times.

Good and evil are human constructs, omnipotence i imagine would somewhat elevate any super being above such trivial concepts. But if our God or Gods do have a plan for us, then why give us freewill and then sit back and watch us make a mess of the world without intervention or at least a little guidance?

"I asked the same question myself, why does god allow suffering.

You or i cannot help it after all we are all human. To be honest a significant proportion of the pain and suffering on the planet is the direct result of organised religion and the control constructs that go hand in hand with such ideologies. The distribution of wealth among our populace is another culprit.

regardless of where we place the blame, we cannot hold another entity responsible, when we take no responsibility ourselves, even if it is a small thing that we do.

Would I give up all I have to feed the poor?

If God is God as described by western religion then ultimately he is responsible for the good, the bad and the ugly.

If not then there is a God with God.

The devil theory also ultimately is nonsense since God supposed to have power over ALL things.

And if this devil is independent from God then he is a God as well

A friend of mine use to always say to me: “God is the devil”

Nah, surely God do not need to deceive ppl.. Its the ppl who need to do that to have control over others and if you believe the Christian religion, its the devil/satan that is working inside our world to destroy our unity with our self and God.
God is the most patient Father there is, for once if we ppl would truly stop and look at what God is offering for us we could grow up finally, by reading that God already destroyed our civilizations sometimes, it tells me that He do not want to give up on us either but want to see us grow up.

I suppose that depends on what you have and your definition of "All". If the answer is significantly more than you require to survive and exist then i imagine you should indeed give something to feed the poor. I believe "They" call it tax these days. Shame that its the wrong people who seem to be taxed.

I like the way you think OP, it would seem that things are not as they seem wouldn't it. I too have intuitively felt this way for quite some time and in the journey known as life have come across information that confirmed my own feelings. I will admit that I can not confirm the authenticity of that knowledge but I can say I have no reason to believe the source(s) were lying. I simply find it interesting that their are others who feel the same as I do as well as those who have made claims supporting what I have felt in my heart without knowing of each others existence or beliefs ahead of time.

I also have felt a deeper connection to the bigger picture which I can't quite explain and even if I could would not do so as I know it would sound "crazy" so I keep that to myself and hope for the best. I will say that I hope Im around to see the eradication of the scourge we call " organized religion". In saying that last part it is important to know that I am NOT an atheist and do believe in a Divine Creator, just not the same one any of the major religions put stock in.

I also fully understand that their are those who have actually benefited from their own spirituality and are genuinely kind, benevolent and full of compassion. Unfortunately though "a few bad apples..." as the saying goes. For those religious folks that have managed to comprehend the true message hidden amongst the lies and propaganda I truly hope that if and when you meet your enemies your true character shall be known and appreciated.

I'm not wealthy. Did you know the poor person gives more than the wealthy?

. Shame that its the wrong people who seem to be taxed.

True that.

And He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury, and He saw also a certain poor widow putting in two mites. So He said, “Truly I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all; for all these out of their abundance have put in offerings for God, but she out of her poverty put in all the livelihood that she had.”

the devil's greatest achievement was not in convincing man that he does not exist, but that he is GOD!

Man's greatest achievement was in convincing man that the Bible was written by God.
