I fit in the category that you choose to ignore but is recognized by the medical community. The physiological condition of gender dysphoria. It is related to genetic markers, make up of the brain, and a prenatal exposure to hormones.

Whether you like it or not, your brain is the largest sex organ you possess. If it says you are male, you are male. If you have a vagina and your brain says "male" then, congratulations, you have a man's vagina. It is very real and is studied by scientists and doctors far more intelligent than you or I.

But you know what? None of that matters. Because "transgender" covers a large swathe of non-gender-conforming people and it's not anybody's place to tell them who they are or what pronouns to push upon them. I can't relate to most of them just like I can't relate to you. However, I have the decency and respect to treat them just as I want to be treated.

I would do the same for you if you asked me to. Because you are human.

Sorry, but I'm not into the whole pseudo-historical timeline of Western society. I believe that sex is magical... why would you wanna ruin your tantric knowledge with marriage to one person of the same sex? Gender is a mental thing, I just do not agree with the philosophy. How could we as a collective species think about a future with people we can't make that future with?

The act of sex centers around procreation. People don't marry just to "live the rest of their lives" with somebody. That is romanticized bologna. The act of heterosexual sex has advanced every species on this planet more than any other behavior!

Of course... such selfish, pessimistic rhetoric. I just hope that at some point we use our situation to help us evolve. Maybe we need to be on the verge of extinction before we figure it out.

To refuse procreation is to refuse a future, an understandable reaction to our situation. But a weak one, I think.

Soon we will start allowing sex with children, all in the name of a "gender identity". We will start to say, "These children are SMART enough to understand sex and determine when they want to experiment."

My problem with gender is that it ignores sex, which is "counter-productive". That seems to be a mental disorder to me.

We have exponentially increased our population to insane levels in the last 400 years. We've won in that department. Right now, there are more children being born than parents who want them. How is a couple who do not want to create more kids but are willing to adopt not helping out our world? I consider those people heroes.

And, promise you. If you had a male gay couple and a lesbian couple as the only survivors of the planet, they'll put aside their preferences and make some babies. Relating homosexuality to being anti-procreation is silly.

I do think the church has some things right. But I don't agree with their interpretation of "sin". I think you should be able to have sex with whoever you want!

It just boggles my mind that you would want to dictate the future of humanity by saying "for the rest of my life, I will not procreate and I will teach young people that this is how they should live". To me that is just ASKING for destruction in the long run.
