Uh ... His pic is very valid to your point.

Another issue you people have..when asking for equality..you see it as special treatment.
Thanks for the both of you for showing the world what minorities, gays, women, and other religions besides Christian/Catholic go through.
If cops talk to us or hassle us..we must be criminals, if we ask for equality...then we are asking for special treatment.
Love it when ignorant racists make your argument for you.

So show me where his point was valid? I called them for what they were by using their own words.

Did you all even watch the speech? It was all about how the problems of race relations are being overcome in this country. What the hell is wrong with you guys? You guys are doing the exact thing that she was talking about in this speech. Being ignorant.

I watched it all the way through...the last couple sentences were a good message. The rest of it was a gross exaggeration (at least in my 36 years of life living in 4 different states and two countries) on how people respond to black people.

I would argue there was as much ignorance in the first two minutes of that clip than are gracing the page(s) of this thread.

If that pampered First Pig who is a member of the governments Chosen Race and Gender had had to experience all that this White Male has had to since 1965, she would have become like a Raped Ape.

The usual suspects...you know the non racist group..right wingers..

The ones who continue to show they are everything we assume they are.

All we have to do is sit back and let them voice an opinion...the truth about them always comes to light.

what black people need is to be judged by the content of their character

Yes, I absolutely agree with MLK aswell.

That is exactly why the majority of blacks in America will move on, get on with their lives, prosper and be succesful, because of their character and the will to succeed.

However, there will remain a hard core, who will stay where they are all their lives, never trying to better themselves while all the while happily blaming white society for keeping them down.

What a disgusting racist POS.

I voted for her husband twice and wish I could turn back the hands of time and do things differently. If it wasn't for all the whiteys that hold her down her husband would have never been elected to 1 term yet alone 2.

I hope all those supporting her comments in this thread know you are disgusting POS's as well. Mrs. Obama and people like you are making this world a much more hateful place.

Actually...YES...that is EXACTLY what black leaders and some black communities want. Special treatment. You see...these people will say we are all the same and then say they want special treatment.

You are equal to anyone else, you are under the same Constitution as I am. Now get out there and exercise your right to speech and freedom of the press...oh wait, you just did.

"When the cops hassle us"...have you been hassled by the police, you, personally?

Your President said that the highest you can achieve is middle class. Is that the equality you believe in? I say you can go higher than middle class, but you have to get there through hard work.

Apparently your President doesn't have faith in you, he doesn't project anything higher than middle class for you.

Obama's 2015 Education Budget

America's public schools strive to offer a path to the middle class for children from hard-working families in every community, particularly those living in poverty. Yet too many students lack access to the education and supports that make the journey to the middle class possible. The Obama administration is committed to ensuring equity of opportunity for every child.

Ensuring that the highest you can go is middle class, and you settle for that?

You want real equality? Then vote for a President who believes you can go further. Your black President has no faith in you, so who is not showing you equality? Not me. I found it offensive that he would even say that in his budget speech.

You have been hoodwinked. Malcolm X says the Democrats made you a political chump. Has it changed?

Obama said you could go as high as middle class...you have been hoodwinked. Now, does it make me a racist to say that Obama was WRONG for telling you the highest you can go is middle class, when I KNOW that you can go higher?

I support her comments that will be times you will be faced with racism and to not let it stop you.

I see you have an issue with facts.

Facts?

Facts that she has more success and wealth that maybe 1% of ALL people will ever see?

Facts that her husband was put into power by white people?

The fact that she stills sees her self as a victim and uses her power to further divide the country in a time that it could use some healing?

Maybe you've never faced racism but I have been in all black neighborhoods multiple times. And let me tell you I was met with more hate and bigotry than ANY black person I have ever been with in an all white neighborhood. Guess that wasn't racism though because minorities can't be racist.

Keep on living in your media approved fantasy world.

I think you are the one who is allergic to facts.

We have made enormous progress in teaching everyone that racism is bad. Where we seem to have dropped the ball.......is in teaching people in what racism actually is - Jon Stewart.

And what Cassius said is the plain truth.

Racism is a two way street.

America needs to put the past behind it and look to the future.

Yes I have..and have never been charged with a crime because I don't commit crimes. Yet I have been stopped and asked why I am out so late..apparently I have to be a certain race to be out at night in order for me to go to the store.

I have been stopped at least 30 times since I have leased a brand new truck. Always the same stupid reason...I matched a description, who is this truck registered to, what am I doing out so late.etc.

I never knew I looked like so many people..
Or that I needed a reason to be out at certain times of the night.

Don't give me lip. Cain was off the ballot before I got a chance to even think about voting for anybody. Are you suggesting I should have voted for Obama to get my bona fides?

I'll vote for the best person for the job, but by the time my state gets the chance to weigh in a lot of names are gone. I'd like to see Carson somewhere on my ticket although I'd prefer someone dig up Thomas Sowell.

Did I give you lip? Sorry about that, I didn't meant it to you personally.

No, you should vote for the person you think is best. Ben Carson, yes, he needs to be on the ballot, but unfortunately the Liberals are trying to find any reason to keep him off.

We need more candidates and more parties.

(PS, you know I would never give you lip, maybe my post seemed directed at you, is this the one I said @ Thread?)

You know guys, I still saw that video/speech as nothing but positive. I didn't see any racism or hate or victimhood by the FLOTUS. I think you guys are missing it. I thought it was about overcoming life's obstacles and that even when people try to keep you down you keep rising up.

Nothing wrong with that overall message. Nothing at all.

So you are assuming she has never faced racism? Or that I said black people cannot be racist. How about the fact she is telling those graduates they shouldn't play victim and succeed despite racism.

Are you making up narratives in your head?

I see what you mean. No, that isn't right to do to you.

Believe it or not, there was a city policeman who followed me around trying to harass me, and I'm white.

What city was this? I will make sure I say something against that police department.

I never thought i'd live to see a black president in my lifetime.

I don't think America will ever be one big happy coca cola advert.

But, to quote a man who lived his life in a loin cloth -

"We must be the change we want to see".

This is in Canada. I am not saying that all cops are like that..I have meant racist cops..but I have also met decent police officers.

I hold no grudges...but can understand where she is coming from.

Her speech was...you will face racism but never let that stand in your way of success.

If any single party can truly be generalized as being racist it is the democratic party. The Republican controlled congress in 1862 despite unanimous democrat opposition enacted the second confiscation act, that freed all slaves held by confederate rebels, which was later cited by Republican Abraham Lincoln in the Emancipation Proclamation.

I don't side with any party as I think the two party system is the biggest con game in all of politics, but I find it funny that the most racist and evil party can still so easily play people like pawns.

Both parties scare the crap out of me, but the democratic party is downright evil.

We have all faced racism. Every single person on the Earth has whether you want to acknowledge it or not.

What she is teaching them is that they are victims of some imaginary boogey man.

How is she teaching them not to "play victim" by playing one herself?

What a great role model.
