It depends on whose brain were talking about Einstein or Kardashian...
let's just say for a moment, this theory is accurate,
If we are all living in our own little reality theb what is reality out side of the one we know within our selfs? .

Simulation or time travel?
Maybe we are all actually living in a distant galaxy on a advanced planet light years away.
Connected to a quantum Wifi device that can send consciousness light years away to a inhabited planet called Earth. I would guess it might be difficult to send a large amount of memory or data that far into space. So it's quite possible that some of the data either never completely downloads or perhaps the human mind can only hold so much information. If NASA can connect to this simulation, maybe we could open a direct line of communication. The truth might be stranger then we could even imagine.

Why would we need bodies in another galaxy? Why wouldn't we just be part of the programming, like we are part of the universe.
IMHO the "we are plugged in watching VR" is souly because of the movie. It's totally not needed.

I'm averaging about 60 frames per second , only notice lag when I travel from world instance to instance due to changes in server time.
Don't really notice any glitches that would otherwise ruin gameplay , plenty of hackers and griefers , screamers, l33t g33ks , n00bs , and plenty of p0wning .
Non stop base raping
hopefully our alien dev team will hear the community feedback and patch the # out of this game.
In all seriousness though , are NASA agreeing with the scientist because they have evidence to substantiate his theory ???

Exactly. The Matrix is a work of fiction. Can we knock it off with all of the "we live in a simulation" nonsense already?

Right. Aliens drafting an enormous simulation makes perfect sense but God is for idiots. Whatever. . .

Exactly. We have computers, We know they exist. We have VR worlds , we know they exist.
We know we are all fundamentally energy and the double slit experiment says observation effects reality. Exactly like a MMORPG only runs instances with a player inside the dungeon and shuts it down when no one is logged on.
While every religions creation myth has been TOTALLY debunked and offered zero insight into physics and the history of the universe.
So yes (at least every organized religion I know of) people who believe in a god are idiots.

There are really only a few thousand Humans...we see billions, because of variations on the original few thousands.
We are in a simulated 'life', because without experiencing a few VR lifetimes, we'd go raving mad.
You see...we are really on a multi-generational intergalactic starship, travelling through the void on our way to a distant, shining world called...Earth.
