Because they are more permissive. The states where the militias and nationalistic American pride types will be is along the border area in the cowboy states. Or this is really an attempt to ward off ISIS and our borders are compromised as we speak. a reply to: Greathouse

That's weird, what the army said will happen is happening! Crazy!

Not sure why it's scary. They said they would be doing it...

There are no tunnels under Walmarts... Although I have not worked at any of the Walmart locations you mentioned, I have worked at a Walmart once a few years ago briefly. I worked in the back as a receiving associate unloading the semis when they pulled in. If there were any tunnels, that would be where one would build them as most of the back warehouse is concrete. I guarantee you there are no tunnels as the employees would know it if there were to be any.

I used to work nights at a safeway (Ralphs, carrs, Von's, ect......) there was only a handful of us and we basically had full access....

I still can't say for sure there were no secret underground tunnels.

If tptb created a top secret series of interconnected tunnels, I'm sure they took into account the fact that an average worker may discover an entrance, and they planned accordingly.

Alaska Citizens Militia Alaska, Nikiski

Haha, North Road! That's what we call our home Nikiski, Not sure about our militia though, didn't realize we actually had one lol.

In reality this entire town is a militia whether we know it or not, it just comes with the territory and lifestyle around here.

More On topic, there is a super Walmart located just outside of Nikiski, as well as a massive abandoned Lowes building.......not sure of any tunnels, it would be a b!tch to get them this far.

Strategically wise I would think however.

ohhhh kayyyy.... now I am feeling a little paranoid!
I live right near a WalMart that was built fairly recently, and we don't know why because there is one already near here. This one is smaller and has less items and some prices higher than the other one.

That's not what makes me paranoid though. It is this in combination with the fact that I have heard the mechanical grinding/engine-ish sounds here, only once though.

Are there other signs I should look for? Just curious... I'm not freaking out. Whatever is going to happen will happen.

I worked at a furniture store starting in 1992. In 1999 we built a brand new state of the art furniture showroom and proceeded to clear out the old store. During the clearance sale the staff cleaned out warehouses and storerooms. That was when I discovered a room in the store that I never saw before. Seven years in the location and I'd been all over that store but in a closet that held bedding materials, sheets, pillows, comforters, shams and bedspread which we were not taking to the new store I found a surprise. Behind the now empty shelves I saw a staircase that I'd never seen. The shelves were on a roller system like a sliding closet door. At the top of the stairs was yet another store room. SEVEN YEARS in that store. In and out of all corners including that closet and still here was a room I never knew existed. So you may never know what's behind a storage shelf unit. Maybe there's a secret passage.

Anyone checking what is going on with passing of new laws or anything else that might be on the dodgey side, as most of us are looking at the whole 'Walmart Conspiracy'.

Passing new laws/legislature, like, for instance, that guy McConnell trying to pass a bill to re-authorize the Patriot act until 2020? hmmmm isn't that funny timing

If a massive underground tunneling project was undertaken, the amount of debris removed would be ungodly.

projectcamelot.org...
Even if there were no Nuclear Subterrene Tunneling Machines used, who would really care about another pile of dust?

Anyway... found this thread relating to a "VHST" (very high speed transit system):
www.abovetopsecret.com...

Some maps regarding tunnels (from the VHST-thread) combined with the locations of the 5 recently closed stores:

Gimme more maps and I would be glad to add them as well.

Lots of material from the Rand-Corporation, I would say this could have been done in times of the Cold War.
Nuclear shelter, weapon storage, continuity of government etc. pp. Pretty obvious if you ask me.

Now THAT'S funny!

As if the folks worked up over imaginary tunnels under Walmart would otherwise be engaged in what was happening in reality.

If your Walmart stores have the same build 'quality ' to that of its uk subsidiary, Asda,; I certainly wouldn't be using or planning to use them as detention centres for lots of angry people.

Why not just build lots of new jails, there is overcrowding in most if im correct?

Im not sure about the proposed tunnels, too much material to move out and in, plus manufacturing of goods to supply itktit would be hard to hide.

Now, walmarts as centres for food distribution to the public controlled by government, makes sence.

No, please see previous replies in the thread which state the purpose of the exercise.

I don't have time to reread all that today, but here is the article pertaining to Texas specifically, where they clearly say that's among the exercises they have planned, and that TX was chosen because we notoriously defend ourselves when threatened. They have done things like this before, so the assertion that it would be impossible to stage something like that is unfounded.

I'm not sure I am on board with the notion that this is a method by which to snatch civilians and throw them into camps, but it is definitely a preparation for something. It could also be used as an effective method of determining how much resistance they'd get from the civilian population if they were to try and take Texas under complete federal control. Or it could be an actual attempt, which is what I think a lot of people are afraid of. But I think it's more likely a dress rehearsal; find out what the major weaknesses are so that an actual takeover would happen seamlessly.

The vast majority of the exercises are happening in Texas...the state that has complete, viable sustainability, were it to secede. The state that will boldly defend itself when threatened. And what is the easiest way to get people to let their defenses down? Make it seem like a game, get them used to the idea of something being "routine". Desensitizing. And throw in a huge distraction, such as Walmart inexplicably closing five stores in four states with a ridiculous excuse about plumbing issues; they already know people are going to question that. Then let it be revealed that Walmart is mentioned specifically in FEMA documents. Then add the wage issue into the mix too, and what do you have? A huge majority of the population arguing the issue, getting all riled up to the point where they're really not paying attention to much else. And while everyone is distracted, they can do whatever they're planning behind the scenes, unchallenged, right under the public's nose. Hiding in plain sight. There was a time, not too long ago, that I would have laughed at such a notion. But I'm not laughing now.

Among the planned exercises, soldiers will try to operate undetected amongst civilian populations in some towns and cities where residents will be advised to report any suspicious activity they notice as a means of testing the military's effectiveness, said county law enforcement officials who had been briefed by the Army.

"They're going to set up cells of people and test how well they're able to move around without getting too noticed in the community," said Roy Boyd, chief deputy with the Victoria County Sheriff's Office. "They're testing their abilities to basically blend in with the local environment and not stand out and blow their cover.

Another distinct possibility, you're right. I think someone posted a map or something like that pertaining to Yellowstone...not sure if on this thread or another one. But it's a prep for something, and that is a very plausible something.

What are the odds that these tunnels actually exist......Very small. Imagine the machinery and amount of manpower needed......Someone would talk or see columns of heavy tunnel boring machines.

This is why I think this entire angle is false.

It's all about union busting. Plain and simple..
Right-wing websites would like you to think it's connected to Jade Helm and Gubmint plans to grab your guns but that story was planted to distracr from the real conspiracy here.. It looks like it worked.

Sad.

The right/left wing sights are all in it together. Your post is kinda ironic because you say they are distracting from the real issues while pointing at a right-left paradigm that does not exist. Only the people at the bottom argue back and forth while the guys sitting at the top plot the next move.
