I honestly just feel like this is TPTB pulling Conspiracy Theorists' legs - they just had a report about internet bloggers and conspiracy theorists being akin to terr0rists...

And I feel like something SO big and SKETCHY as the conspiracies claim it to be... are just falling prey because if it TRULY was a huge, secretive operation they would have a better cover. C'mon, you really think their plan is that easy to see? I don't think so honestly...

Just as plausibly, it may be a disinformation tactic of TPTB. Get some people to cry wolf 'this time' so they're not listened to when it matters.

When operations are huge (and important) ... there's usually some element of distraction. The government slang for that is "a dangle".

Judging from the amount of flags, there's at least 14 very gullible people right now that have read this.

This is laughable to say the least. The "tunnel map" if anywhere near correct, is showing thousands of miles of tunnels..my guess is FIVE thousand miles. Sitting here laughing my butt off while I'm typing this. If you have ever driven or traversed the country you would realize how incredibly unrealistic this would be. Does anyone know the manpower it would take to accomplish such a feat? How many years? The incredible lengths that would have to be gone to to make sure local communities didn't know? Not to mention thousands of tunnel diggers who would have to keep totally silent, no cellphone pics, no talking about it, not even when they were totally drunk at the neighborhood bar? Or is there another conspiracy somewhere that the tunnel builders were acquired from some other source and left no trail, no truckloads of dirt anywhere, not even on Google maps? What an incredible feat of human engineering! This is better than the Great Pyramids! All for what? Tell me again? To connect Walmarts? Excuse me while I go laugh uncontrollably for a bit!

Well ... hmmph. That's a sobering set of thoughts.

And, yet, the pyramids exist. I know. I've clambered around on them a bit. Weren't built with the use of the wheel either (to hear some people tell it).

Did you know Sam Walton had twice as much money as Bill Gates when he was alive? A lot of folks aren't aware ... and it's a fact.

C'mon, brother ... this is a conspiracy website. Run with it!! LOL

I guess we'll see if this whole thing is true or not. Either way the first article in the OP seemed rather disjointed with it's use of "Jade Helm 15 states Walmarts"(or however many states it said).

What if part of this Jade Helm doodad is tracking the movement and growth of Jade Helm the conspiracy. A pleasant little social experiment attached to whatever it is already attached to.

First it was born simply as Jade Helm, now in it's cute infant years it is Jade Helm 15 states Walmarts. I wonder if in the next stage of development we are introduced to a prominent figure to associate with it. I guess I'll have to wait and see. I must say though, I am really pulling for Jade Helm 15 states Walmarts Tupac Shakur.

Here you go:

The public can expect nothing much different from their day-to-day activities since much of exercise will be conducted in remote areas. The most noticeable effect the exercise may have on the local communities is an increase in vehicle and military air traffic and its associated noise.

This exercise is routine training to maintain a high level of readiness for ARSOF since they must be ready to support potential missions anywhere in the world at a moment's notice.

During this eight-week period, ARSOF soldiers will use this opportunity to further develop tactics, techniques and procedures for emerging concepts in Special Operations warfare.

Judging from what you have concluded a flag to mean, well, you're not very good at judging things... I did not personally flag this thread, but I have flagged threads that you might consider to be similar to this thread in the past, and it wasn't because I was gullible, meaning I did not buy the threads premise hook line and sinker, but I merely wanted to attract more knowledgeable people to respond to it's contents, so that I might learn more about various components of the subjects included in the thread.

Sometimes I was suspicious, sometimes I was completely over my head and looking for a larger number of opinions from varied sources, sometimes I was hoping someone with some good knowledge and sense would bring some logic to the table that would end up incidentally debunking some wild scary theory, and sometimes I totally agreed with and wanted to support a thread, and there are plenty of other reasons I've flagged a thread other than to say "I agree, 100%". But I suppose you will say its very gullible for someone to be curious or interested in a topic which they themselves may not know much about. I just see it as a part of a process called "learning".

By the way, you are assuming they would be using tunneling techniques familiar to the average person with access to Google. "Sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic"

Does anyone know where the video of the truck drive was from? At least state? And can you tell what he said about driving through tunnels to Maine and how many miles if it was 100-150 or 1000-1500?

The tunnels fascinate me and this seems like confirmation but it could just be the records storage and misquoted truck driver.

I seen that video in Walmart. It was in Michigan. If you see something, say something.

If one were to look at the idea of tunnels under Walmarts from a military perspective it would make a great deal of sense. Large buildings easily partitioned, located damn near everywhere. It's not a conspiracy theory that underground bases have been built though it was once thought of as such so it's not a stretch to think they would connect them with tunnels. It makes sense for both an attack from outside or rebellion from within. They've certainly had the black budget to create something like this.

Here is some really good info, posted on another thread regarding the Walmart connection, by Crowdpsychology:

The private sector and especially big stores like Walmart and Home depot are considered Recovery Support Functions (RSFs)

Walmart specifically mentioned in documents

I won't repost all of his links, but that's a direct link to his post and they're all on there. Lots of people calling BS on that thread too. Imagine that.

You have a verifiable source in your claim of no tunnels under Wal-Mart's?

The OP did a better job of proving his theory, so where is your sources?

The government gave Wal-Mart appx. $1BILLION ...for what?

Now why would you possibly think walmart would need the government's 1 billion dollars to build some damn tunnels under their stores? Seriously, walmart could buy the damn government if they wanted to! You're talking about one of the richest company's in the world. They donate more than a billion dollars a year to charity every year.

To protect their investment or they have a stake in your slavery. I'm still trying to figure it all out. I don't think there's some crazy theory behind Walmart. The Government can already take whatever it wants. It will also dictate what you'll do. If they made it worth Wally Worlds time, I can see hidden tunnels for national security. I would like to have a contingency plan in effect in the event of war. All we are doing is speculating and that's okay. I'm not changing my lifestyle or setting up anti-armor ambushes just yet.

This relates to FEMA and those document repeatedly mention disaster recovery. It certainly makes sense to have Walmart involved in disaster relief as they already have a supply line and infrastructure in place. I don't see how that relates at all to a special forces exercise; in fact there are a number of reasons why closing stores would make no sense at all. A closed Walmart is going to be of no military use as far as supplies go.

And once again, why would the military spend untold billions of dollars building secret tunnels and have the entrances at discount department stores mostly staffed with minimum wage workers many of them disgruntled?

That's on top of the whole project being very, very close to impossible.

I can understand your skepticism, and I agree that it does seem rather a wild notion, but you cannot say with absolute certainty that there are no tunnels underneath Wal-Mart just because you think the notion is absurd.

The store was not being worked on at the point where the video had been taken and the shelves could have been there along with the police to prevent theft since there was a section at the side open to the public for prescription collection. I can see that, but that possibility does not rule out any other possibility or explanation especially in the abruptness of the closures and the very short time limit given to the areas being rented by other minor businesses within the main store.

I have seen stores being worked on and retro fitted where the area under construction is co-ordened off whilst the rest of the store is still open.

Was part of the drill not to see if they could infiltrate communities undetected? So if successful, you would not be giving anyone the 'heads up' if it becomes the real deal.

Source

Seven Southwestern states will soon be infiltrated by 1,200 military special ops personnel as part of a controversial domestic military training in which some of the elite soldiers will operate undetected among civilians. Operation Jade Helm begins in July and will last for eight weeks. Soldiers will operate in and around towns in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada, Utah and Colorado where some of them wil drop from planes while carrying weapons loaded with blanks in what military officials have dubbed Realistic Military Training. But with residents of the entire states of Texas and Utah dubbed 'hostile' for the purposes of the exercises, Jade Helm has some concerned the drills are too realistic.

Only if they were actually trying to infiltrate communities undetected.

So here's my question to you if they were actually going to infiltrate communities undetected why would they announce it?

I don't think a walmart to walmart conspiracy makes any sense. What would be the purpose? Cheap junk from china available by tunnels? Tptb can print all the money they need and stock all the things they require in this scenario. Why introduce a tunnel system to a breach, and at a walmart none the less. It makes no sense.

The point is not to have a Walmart to Walmart tunneling system for cheap junk. The point is that if closed down Walmarts, which are all over the US and have vast floor areas, are say fitted as 're-education stations' or 'holding stations' or 'secretive military housing' or whatever might be planned for them as a take-over/control system, then connecting tunnels, unseen until it is time to spring any nefarious plan into action, would make perfect sense. Unsuspecting people removed to a holding area miles away and no-one would know where they went.

It is more likely a symptom of the recession, or a business move to help minimize the effects.
This scenario helps them do mass layoff and skirt some laws put in place to protect workers from it.

yes it could well be only a recession thing, but why freshly stock up with perishable goods when you know you are going to close later that day? Usually stores that are going to close know well in advance and let stock run down and have 'closing down' signs / sales up for at least a week before hand.

Found this article interesting along with the embedded video. It does not appear to be youtube so I have no idea how to extract it to put it in my reply, sorry about that.
