Pheonix, we have trains come by here with over 200 cars on them. Wouldn't surprise me to see some with 300 or more. They come past here, about a block away, daily dozens of times, and at night. It is not unusual to see 3 or 4 Engines pulling these long suckers!!

Just to add a bit of Australia in here.

We have road trains. Imagine trying to overtake this on the road.



You need lots of horsepower to overtake safely. You need to be careful, many of these challenges occur on dirt roads.

In Australia you very seldom see an 18 wheeler.

Most of ours are 22, unless a road train. That one is a 146 wheeler.

Syx is not kidding about the 150 - 200 car trains here in the states. I've seen a few coal trains go by my house lately that have been exactly 200 cars and maybe two locomotives pulling all of it. Never mind that these trains are loaded too with coal going to port!

I think I can say that spring has officially sprung to life down here!! There was little to nothing showing on the trees the week before last. Now everything is green with life on the trees and flowers.

Our trees are finally starting to sprout leaves and flowers are coming up. It is such a pleasure to see after a long hard cold and dreary Winter. So far the herbs and flowers I planted are doing well out there.
