Whew. I'm home. My feet hurt and I'm making lunch for the eldest (he's on a special diet so I make all his food).
I'm feeling weirdly discouraged, or something. I'm trying to not let it get to me. Hm.
Well, sorry to come in and be all debbie-downer! lol!
The cool news is that Bobby Mcferrin's Psalm 23 is going to be amazing, and the new piece in swahili is going to rock.
I hope you all have a wonderful night. (Or whatever time it is for you...)
AB, you're in a time warp! LOL! It's day time for you and night time for some of us. You guys are learning a song in Swahili? How cool is that? Ever
make vids of your choir? You'll have to share sometime if you can.
Oh, don't worry about being a Debbie downer. I've had that title for a while. LOL I usually let it all hang out and then I feel better. Why are you
feeling discouraged Honey?
Been a slow day and night for me as I've been listening to some music to try and get over the boredom and it's not really helping. So I've been
sitting here at the computer trying to figure out what else to do besides editing pictures from last week, yesterday, and today. Other than that,
I've also been editing and uploading some videos to Youtube just to make that Google coinage. One of the photos is of a train heading east alongside
the New River on Tuesday morning of last week. I'm standing out on the overlook behind the lodge at Hawks Nest State Park on the north/east side of
the river.
Took this on Sunday, or Saturday what have ya, at the east end of town. In this photo, CSX 418 brings an empty grain train west around the broad curve
as it heads for Russell, Kentucky. This as a little bit of sun shines down on the nose of the lead locomotive.
This guy came through today after it had ran east through here on Sunday night. Some burnt orange is seen heading west through town late yesterday
afternoon. BNSF 5412 brings some empty oil cans back from Yorktown, Virginia towards the Bakken Crude oilfields of North Dakota.
Not much longer, maybe an hour if that, after the oil train rolled through. This empty grain train shows up rolling through town heading back to the
Midwest. CSXT 8774 leads the way as it is seen heading towards a crew change at Russell, Kentucky for the run up to Columbus, Ohio. I messed up when
setting up the camera after I mistook it for being on the left track. Still fun seeing something that big running by you at forty five to fifty miles
per hour.
