The math behind trigonometry is pretty well proven to be fair, and is something that anyone in doubt can check for themselves.

The constellations will change over time as shown in this link:

As you can see they would not have changed much since recorded history, but pre-historic humans living say 40K years ago would have been looking at somewhat noticeably different constellations.

Space exploration is for now science fiction, at least in terms of getting further than the moon, but I don't see how that affects the shape of the earth. My previous post gives examples of how anyone can prove the earth is round for themselves without relying on NASA or any other space agency.

What do you mean by "'scientists' are taking our money to do the most irrelevant things when it comes down to paying attention to the one thing that allows all of us to be here"? I think there are many factors behind why we are here and uncovering these is always going to be a bit tricky. What is the "one factor"?

For people who argue something like the earth is flat because God we still have to ask why could God have not created a globe? How is it that the overwhelming majority of God believers know we don't live on a flat earth?

We are now getting told time and time again by scientists that the earth is not a perfect sphere but more squashed in the middle. Like a spheroid.

So every picture we've ever seen of the earth taken from space has been fake. So not one person on earth besides astronauts has never seen what our planet actually looks like.

Even if you don't believe in the flat earth theory, that fact says a hell of a lot about nasa.

So globalists, instead of questioning and attacking flat earthers, question why we have never ever ever seen a real picture of our plane(t)

sigh - here is a challenge - get a friend you trust to draw 2 lines at right angles [ 90 degrees ]

one :

1275 mm long . the second 1271 mm long

then see if you can honestly tell which line is longest while standing 3m away

then you should realise that your expectation to " detect the oblateness of the earth " from a photo is utterly assanine

As for the explanation.....can you notice a difference? Without a measuring device, you can't. THATS THE WHOLE POINT. But for you to say "it's rubbish" just shows your complete ignorance of the matter.

Here's a simple test for you.

Get 2 round balloons. Blow one up with a diameter of 25cm. Blow the other up to 25.1cm. Put them at opposite sides of the room and see if you can tell the difference.
