Reading this thread trying to keep a distance...I agree that the OP source is dubious at best...but the big players in this world game of chess are making a move...the propaganda wars are in full swing.

I am not pro Russian as their track record is no better than the US..and the OP is actually correct...the American people need to consider what the outcome could be.....a world war at this technological point in human existence would be devastating for all.

Considering the USA sent a grand total of 5 billion over 10 years... While Russia poured money into the Ukraine to try and keep them away from the EU, I would guess it's just Russia fighting the proxy war.

IMO, the problem in the middle east is what currency will be used to trade oil. Iran, Syria, Iraq, Russia and China want to dump the USD for oil trades and use their own currency, which would be devastating to the US economy because the USD for oil trading system has been grossly abused because the USA has been spending for the last 35 years to extend its influence around the world.

I believe the USA will do anything it needs to do to protect its economy except a WWIII.
