The range near my place charges 50 per hour. I just buy my own targets and shoot in a deserted area. Speaking of targets I just place an order for hostage targets. Was wondering if anyone have experience practicing with these? www.shootingtarget.org...

Find a gun club near where you're headed and contact them. They might be willing to show you a good time for cheaper than a range. Wouldn't hurt to ask, anyway.
