Still one of the greatest shows ever made....and it's subject matter is still completely relevant today..

All you have provided are articles, and a wiki entry, that some may say are very biased.....they make references to studies, polls, and anecdotes. The study is behind a paywall, and doesn't appear to have been done very scientifically, based on the descriptions. And the polls and anecdotes are worthless...

So, No, you haven't provided anything of the sort....you haven't made a convincing case...

The only one going in circles, is you.

You have provided nadda evidence to support your claims, so you haven't even begun to start a dialogue with me.

Studies have consistently shown that at least since the 1990s, the percentage of female characters in video games has remained steady at around 15%.

"It's amazing how little has changed," says University of Pennsylvania professor, Yasmin Kafai, the co-editor of one of the seminal books on gender in videogames, Beyond Barbie and Mortal Kombat, published in 2008.

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with me having not made specific claims...you, however, have...

Who the hell cares?

This is more gender politics crap...This isn't what GG is about.

It's interesting to note that the above quote starts with weasel words.....they allude to the existence of studies, without actually citing any of them..

Surprisingly, the only actually interesting item on your list, is that blog post...

the rest are filled with factual inaccuracies, baseless assertions, and outright lies.

The blog post is about GamerGaters being harrassed, amazing.
Did you even read it after your google search?

But that's just it. I do read all viewpoints and angles. I can cede that some gamer-ethics people are getting harassed. I just don't think the other links/articles are wrong either or full of inaccuracies. Our perceptions aren't necessarily wrong, if they are our actual experiences. My viewpoints and perception of gamerblah could change, but for now, I still see more harm than good coming from it.

I hope you're not one of those who rant about the MSM on here.
Because if you do, welcome to being a hypocrite.

We all rant about MSM, but we have to start somewhere. Most of the stuff I read or that goes through my newsfeeds are smaller blogs and News outlets though.

"We all"?
I was talking about you, as an individual.
Think I just identified the problem.

And relying on hearsay is not a valid strategy.

I'm not sure what you mean?

Are you saying that I'm wrong because I linked to some MSM articles?

There are still some ethical journalists out there and who's to say that a blogger has more integrity than a reporter for bloomberg or New York times.

I'm confused.

Reread and think about it.

Got it. You think that the only valid news is news not from an Main stream media and all of the millions of journalists around the world that it employs are in on some big conspiracy. Every last one of them. Get all my news from normal bloggers because they are never biased. Not sure I agree with that, but...I'll give it a shot. I'm not that smart, so maybe I didn't really understand what you said.

So, does putting words in the mouth of your opponent feel good?
The pictures are a counter to your slander to show what GamerGate is actually about.
Just by the by.

It would be nice if you would just tell me what you mean instead of having me guess. Obviously, I was wrong. I understand the pictures but not sure how they correlate to me. Please.

Still don't understand. Not sure why you're speaking in some kind of visual code, but I wish you well.

Remember that although we are on two opposite sides on this discussion, we aren't really opponents. We're just having a discussion and trying to change each other's minds and providing each other and those watching this discussion with what we perceive as facts and logical arguments.
