Anti vaxxers a simple question.

Loosely related: Is herd immunity necessarily a good thing? Won't that likely pass on the weaker traits, or something? I'm not sure exactly how, or what-not, but the whole overuse of antibiotics, leading to less effectiveness of antibiotics, or creation of superbugs, somehow, comes to mind...

FTR, I think it should be individual choice. (If I had kids, after enough personal and specific research, I'd prolly be likely to vaccinate them... Tentatively.) And I sorta think trying to shame people into your view is almost akin to bullying, but I guess if it's for something you believe in, it's all right? Science is evolving all the time, so why can't people choose for themselves when it's close enough to their comfort to buy-in... Plus, there's secrecy everywhere, so who knows who's hiding information that might change some people's minds?

Anyone think it'd be okay to have zones restricted to only vaccinated people? Something like, if you can't vaccinate, you need to be in physical contact with fewer people, reducing your chances of spreading something? (I don't like the direction of this idea, really. It's just for conversation... But it's also late, so not so much more conversation from me tonight. It should be taken just as rhetoric, to continue the conversation.)

I agree vaccinating has been good for people in general, but what's that rule/guideline about if 9 people in a room agree, it's the 10th person's duty to question the notion in question? Yeah, it was in the movie, "WWZ," but I've heard it a couple times elsewhere, as well.

Not quite true. Some Flu jabs still contain mercury.
Ethyl mercury moves freely throughout the body. Inorganic mercury metabolized from ethylmercury crosses the blood brain barrier and sits in your brain with a half life of at least 120 days.
So it will nearly be all gone in around a year, but luckily you should be all ready for your next jab to get a refil. Yummy.

There is no link to vaccines and autism.
Like I said the wakefield thing has been shown to be a fraud.
You will be first in line with your kids when an outbreak happens and kids die from measles.

When you reintroduce diseases that we have been immunized against, in a society where a portion has decided to stop immunizing, you are allowing the diseases to learn how to adapt and overcome the old strains that we happen to be immunized against.

Basically, you are putting us all at risk by allowing grounds where diseases can begin to mutate into something we have no immunization against.

Any mercury is bad if you overdose on it. But small amounts of mercury are fine.. It is found in water, even infant formula and breast milk. It is in your body and mine, it is in water. It's why shellfish collect it in their bodies..because it naturally occurs in water.

If you eat a can or two of tuna you will ingest more mercury than is found in the thimerosal in a flu shot, and they no longer add thimerosal in vaccinations that are given to children..Since 2003 ... so even trace amounts of mercury is not a reason to skip vaccinating your child.

Saying "poisonous" without dosage is meaningless. Ethylmercury at the dosage in vaccines is harmless. And yes, there is a butt-ton of scientific research that demonstrates this.

PS. I'll be honest, in my mind if there is a conspiracy in this by big pharma, it is to keep a portion of the population unvaccinated so they will have to continually update vaccines to keep up with the genetic mutations..

They all know that genetic changes exist, every single one of them knows, but you never hear about the dangers of these mutations in populations where there are unvaccinated portions of the population..

I'd say big pharma likes keeping doubt out there so they will constantly need funds for changing strains of these diseases. Updating vaccines and the need thereof is a money maker..they stay very useful that way..

Honestly, if it comes down to trust, why would you trust companies that built and ran Auschwitz? That as recently as 08 wanted to sell the public vaccines that were known to be contaminated with live hiv, and when congress told them they could not sell them here, they should them in Europe and south America? Companies that intentionally manipulate their research to sell ineffective medicines, or meds known to cause harm? Any one of these should be enough to have them arrested, and yet people still trust them and think it's ok to force others to use their products.
