You ever been reported to DCS for physically touching your child in anger?
Try it sometime.
I was reported to DCS because my daughter spilled milk on her shirt just as the school bus pulled up and she didn't have time to change into a new one before the bus pulled away.
Sounds like you need to move.
I'm not completely sure that this is what you were trying to convey; if it is not take it for what it's worth if it was:
Nobody should EVER need to move because an ineffective, draconian government agency run amok may take their children from them.
EVER.
It sounds like you have/had sucky neighbors.
We did have to do "detox" Monday after granddaughter spent weekends with her dad. But, he was not physical with her.
Teens do over dramatize and that is a problem for the DCS --- and parents.
I can tell you right now, for a fact, she is NOT over dramatizing this. My ex flat out ordered me to NOT get her a cell phone. (He thinks he can still run my life, even though we are no longer married.) I have raised my daughter to be an independent young woman, not an infant that must rely on everyone for everything. I have raised her to realize it is ok to ask for help. Because I treat her like the young woman she is, I understand why is upset at her father. She showed me the text messages between them and the private Facebook messages. (Yes, I helped her set up the account. She's an adult, I have the password and monitor it daily. She can only go online when she visits me anyway.) He DOES treat her like an infant. I can't talk to him because after the divorce he asked me to never contact him again unless she were at his house. He cheated on me and raped me twice, yet HE is pissed at me. Let him. I have forgiven him and moved on and am at a happy place in my life. My only concern is my daughter.
It sounds like you both treat her like a child and, whether you know it or not, you're still in a relationship with your ex. If she's an adult, let go of the apron strings and move on with your life. This thread is about a particular case and shouldn't be an opportunity for you to "share" your ongoing personal drama. In fact, I probably shouldn't have commented about it but I get sick of people using threads for group therapy sessions and suggestions which they always ignore--as you'll ignore both of mine.
Time will tell whether the police acted correctly in removing those children. In any event, it has nothing to do with your personal life.

This local news station gives the update to the hearing and says the kids will remain in custody until feb. when there is another hearing. it also states that the sole reason is the mms and how it may be a danger. anyone with sense should now be outraged and let your voice be heard. your family may be next.
the kids all were checked out by a doctor and no abuse or ingestion had occored.
no reason at all for the raid in the first place.
The GCSO insists, in a statement released this week, that MMS was not the sole reason they made the decision to remove the children. They won't comment beyond that and neither will DHS. Much of the available information has come from motions filed by the defense Wednesday. Q. Byrum Hurst Jr., Stanley's attorney, says the complaints by law enforcement to take the children were aimed at a life style (home births, rarely seeing a doctor, homeschooling) rather than factual allegations that the children have been abused and harmed or that an emergency existed. According to DHS in cases where children are removed from a home, there has to be an emergency order signed. The Judge is tasked with determining one of three options: there was probable cause to take the children at the time and still is; there was probable cause at the time but not anymore and the children can go back home; or, there was never probable cause to take the children.

You are not presenting the updates to the story at the top of the page where it says that after the hearing it was determined no physical abuse and mms was the sole cause for the raid.

The local news and the site i tried to link.
Still no internet articles on the lockdown.
Cutter Morning Star School near Hot Springs is on "soft" lockdown Friday afternoon after a man fled from an officer earlier in the day. During a "soft" lockdown, students must remain in the classroom and are not allowed outside, as of 1:50 p.m., according to a statement posted on the district's website.

Perhaps it is related. it was on the noon news so i do not know but i do see a problem with them using terms like sort lockdown to try and lessen the mental effects that these children are being exposed too against the wishes of their parents.
Surely it bothers you that this is happening?
What about the story do you find if anything that makes this ok?
If they kidnapp your young child you just dropped off at school would it bother you?
How about if they raid you and say you have a bottle of bleach and kitchen knives in your home as the reason?

As we know, many people are unable to distinguish between claims and fact and only take in information if it supports their foregone conclusion. I am not referring to you. The facts will come out at the hearing and not before.
