WOW
So now they can raid you for having bleach like substances.
I wonder how many meth labs they passed on the way to spook some kids that day.

. . . the police already eliminated any physical abuse so we are left with just a charge of neglect and that in no way warrents all this mess. It is an over reach by police and could have been handled by cps visit as in most cases and not a raid.
When was that? I doubt anythings been eliminated. They haven't even had a court date yet.
IMO, due to past experiences with preppers, caution and preparedness by LEO is justified.

They stated that the charges being investigated are neglect and endangerment.

And spankings. How severe were these spankings?
I don't think we really know anything for sure.

I was reported to DCS because my daughter spilled milk on her shirt just as the school bus pulled up and she didn't have time to change into a new one before the bus pulled away.

Well then you know we are in a different era.
I'm 60+ years old ---- everyone got spanked in my generation.
Am now raising a high functioning autistc 7 year old grandson. I work very closely with the school.
I never had the DCS called on me. It was the father of a teen grandchild. The father yells and screams a lot.
Sounds like you need to move.

I'm not completely sure that this is what you were trying to convey; if it is not take it for what it's worth if it was:
Nobody should EVER need to move because an ineffective, draconian government agency run amok may take their children from them.
EVER.

It sounds like you have/had sucky neighbors.
We did have to do "detox" Monday after granddaughter spent weekends with her dad. But, he was not physical with her.
Teens do over dramatize and that is a problem for the DCS --- and parents.

You are posting an example of what i think is the heart of the problem. There is no responsibility on people that make false claims or anonamous claims. As a matter of fact most of the time the enforcment agencies love those kind of claims. I think it is there version of porn.
the FDA state....The product instructs consumers to mix the 28 percent sodium chlorite solution with an acid such as citrus juice. This mixture produces chlorine dioxide,

I can tell you right now, for a fact, she is NOT over dramatizing this. My ex flat out ordered me to NOT get her a cell phone. (He thinks he can still run my life, even though we are no longer married.) I have raised my daughter to be an independent young woman, not an infant that must rely on everyone for everything. I have raised her to realize it is ok to ask for help. Because I treat her like the young woman she is, I understand why is upset at her father. She showed me the text messages between them and the private Facebook messages. (Yes, I helped her set up the account. She's an adult, I have the password and monitor it daily. She can only go online when she visits me anyway.) He DOES treat her like an infant. I can't talk to him because after the divorce he asked me to never contact him again unless she were at his house. He cheated on me and raped me twice, yet HE is pissed at me. Let him. I have forgiven him and moved on and am at a happy place in my life. My only concern is my daughter.

BTW --- I wasn't talking about you. I was talking about my own situation.

Maybe thats why they're worried.

"Chlorine Dioxide – DMSO Treatment For Cancer (Orally)"
"General Comments:
Chlorine dioxide is a molecule which is new in the fight against infections and cancer. It is particularly effective against cancers which are commonly associated with microbes. This includes melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma (both of these cancers spread via microbes), breast cancer (which is almost always associated with infections), cancers associated with yeast infections, etc."
