I know reptilians are always a concern of mine when these events transpire. Perhaps this is an issue that neither of our mighty lists can properly address, for which I'd suggest people attempt picking up the Qur'an for themselves. I mean, if the literature which Muslims consider holy promotes killing non-Muslims then we've got motivation for this event right there.

Qur'an Surah 9 verse 29: 'Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture - [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled.'

Context to the verse I'll happily provide on request. But simply going on how people would naturally read this passage, it reads as fight those who 'do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful' So what has Allah and Muhammad made unlawful, drawing pictures apparently. Now we each agree with freedom to practice religion I'm assuming, but Islam is the only religion in the world that can't be practiced fully unless Muslims are stopping us from practising our faiths! Religious freedom begins and ends with Islam, for from the moment Islam is practised fully in a place all other beliefs are slowly eradicated. This really isn't a left right issue for me, but I do wonder when the left are going to start acting like the left and stand up to much of this belief system.

It is shaping up to look like a shoe string OP. Robbing a gas station says "hay we didn't plan very well".

Maybe their handlers told them they had to die as heroes if they decided to accept the mission. Couldn't go underground.

Then again they say one of them left his drivers license in the car.......so that was MK-Ultra of just dumbass criminal.

There's no robbing, they were just spotted at the gas station.

The mention of a robbery is a mistake from misinformed news sources. Go have a look at the french newspaper (quoted earlier) and that'll clear things up.

ETA : another timeline, this time from BFMTV. No robbery

More news from LeMonde's Twitter feed, showing a police vehicle with what looks like a collapsible platform or extension ladder on the back of it. Could this be used to storm the upper floor of a house?

www.lemonde.fr...

(One can read it with Google Translate if necessary.)

According to the Twitter feed of Le Figaro, police prevented another gunman from forcing his way into another French publication this morning.

According to the Figaro Twitter feed, they are doing house to house searches in an area around a town called Longpoint, which is in the Aisne region that was mentioned already. I think the police must be getting a lot of tips from the locals and have to check them out methodically. LeMonde has said that the media still do not know exactly what is going on except that there is a very heavy police presence in the area.

They are doing spot checks on the road near the village of Courcy (in the same area, not the Courcy west of Paris), according to Le Monde.

Apparently teenagers in the area have been tipping off the journalists as to what is going on but the police have clamped down on it.

French police special forces house to house searches around small towns north-east of Paris (Corcy).

The terrorists are probably hidden somewhere, maybe in a forest, waiting for the night to come.

I just hope the car spotted at the gas station wasn't a diversion, it seems like every man and his dog....and many of the anti terror units have gone up there, a location that Sky news say took them about three hours to get to.

Just hope the two spotted at the gas station are indeed the wanted guys, or that they are all that's left of the terrorist unit.

At least Paris still a huge security ring round it at the moment, I wouldn't want to be taking my eye off that for the moment while the world is looking miles away.

Agreed. Also seems it might be easier to lay low in Paris than in the countryside. It's curious, unless they are trying to reach accomplices/support to get out of France.

I couldnt stand this man...........untill I read what he said on radio today, noway would the whipping boys master come out with anything so bold but true. I feel bad calling him the whipping boy now,

UK Deputy Prime Minster Nick Clegg on his LBC radio phone-in show says in a free country there can be no right not to be offended: "They have killed cartoonists who have done nothing more than draw drawings which they so happen to find offensive. At the end of the day, in a free society people have to be free to offend each other. You cannot have freedom unless people are free to offend each other. We have no right not to be offended. And that fundamental principle of being free to offend people is exactly what was under threat by these murderous barbarians."

* The Pope's views on condoms.
* False flag.
* CIA did it.

Hmmm...seems like cherry picking. Then why have laws on libel or slander? What of on-line bullying? O real life bullying? We try to stop that....anyways, that's another thread altogether.

And....

Being offended is a personal choice.

We all have the right to decide to be offended. We don't have the right to force other people to do anything simply because we choose to be offended by what they do.

Hmm on one side this seems to be exaggerated. Those people should not offend others especially their teacher. It's because none of you believe in Mohammad (PBUH). It would be the same as if this guy were to publish The profit Jesus (3eesa) or Moses (Musa) doing something wrong. or the same act, maybe something sexually obscene. Well then? these people will most likely be placed to civil trial and due to an uproar these people will probably be sent to jail for a long time. However, Muslims see this as a direct insult their very nature. Their actions may be a little over the top, but something needs to be done in order to prevent a picture of lets say the profit Jesus doing something morally inept. I do agree on one thing though, instead of murder.. they should lecture. Isn't it obvious? Romans did a lot worse to those following the book. And in turn, spread the word of Jesus farther than he would have done alone. So those who speak only of hate towards Islam, I invite you to learn why you hate it. Take a lesson or two, point something out that goes against everything you stand for and then grow a dislike. Instead of wrongfully attaching the religion on people. The real value of the religion is in the Holy book The Quran. Read and Understand before you hate and discriminate.
