Interesting little hourglass shape. Possibly too bright and sharp to be a part of the landscape, although it does seem to conform to the ground in that spot. Reflection, maybe? Likely a gamma ray hit.

Just too much imagination, I suppose.

Nice find.

The shape makes me think of a reflection, but the fact that it's completely white makes the reflection theory less likely. I hope we get a closer look.

It was more the "skull" than the "pencil".

The corresponding view from the right camera doesn't show it, which adds credence to the notion that it's a camera or transmission glitch, however, the stereoscopic parallax angle difference of the two cameras may have been enough to let it shine in one camera while not showing up in the other. Happens all the time. It's what makes water appear "sparkly" to us.

I'm pretty sure they use a quill feather pen from some kind of aggressive bird of prey they had to strangle with their own hands.

I think that looks a little too creamy to be a frog turd, certainly not *Clingons* , no where near meaty enough , almost looks like something has been eating to much white chocolate.

Ex-lax on mars ?

I don't think I need to blow up or white balance, add hypothetical colours , like some palaeontologist's like to do with dinos
