All cops enforce the same despotic laws. That makes them all bad cops.

Drug prohibition
Prostitution prohibition
Civil forfeiture
Racketeering for the state (all fines issued for frivolous reasons)
No-knock home invasions without warrant
Enforcing "free speech zones"

Every time the government writes a law that screws over We the People, our wonderful police officers throughout the country proudly enforce them with the same attitude as an idiot stormtrooper that is "just following orders."

Law enforcement in the United States was never intended to be a borg-collective; too stupid and too uneducated to realize that they can refuse to enforce a tyrannical law.

In fact, refusing to enforce unconstitutional laws (both federal and state) is part of their job.

But, today's United States is no longer a republic. We are an empire, and empires need half-wit stormtroopers to survive.

Until more police officers take a stand and refuse to enforce even the tiniest of despotic laws--then they are all bad.

Next time you need help, call a crack dealer then..not all cops are good but you can't say they're all bad.

Your victim stance, is very telling........the fact that you took that statement as a personnal attack says more about you then what his statement said.....

He simply said , that is youre opinion and youre welcome to have it.........thats a kind way of saying "well I just dont agree"

And yet thanks to cops the likes of Ridgway, Bundy, and Gacy were caught. Thanks to cops Gina DeJesus, Amanda Berry, and Michele Knight were able to return home. But I guess the cops that allowed these things to happen were all bad.

It seems ridiculous that you would rely on the police to protect you.

Yeah. Sounds to me as if you'd be the one more likely shooting at cops than needing them for anything at all.

Do you even see the irony in what you're posting in a thread about an insane person posting insane things online and no one paid any attention?

I like how we're all arguing with each other, which is exactly what the people who are above all of this want.

Perhaps the only reason they're shooting for a police state is so the police have a chance against us citizens- otherwise the enforcers will be overrun within a few days of reaching the point of sheep vs wolf.

It's getting closer- but in another week nobody will remember this.

Ridgway alone killed up to 90+ innocent people. How many innocent people did those two cops kill? Would you rather Ridgway were still on the street?

I hate stories like this... We are better than this.. RIP to those two officers who were just trying to do their job...

This country needs a freaking "reset", this is getting effed up... I know many people believe we live in some police state (which I don't agree with), but these cops are on our side, they are here to protect us, turning on them is not the answer...

I understand there are a few bad cops, just like there are a few bad people in EVERY industry today (from pro athletes, to doctors, to accountants, fireman, teachers, priests, etc.), but I won't judge or rip down all police like so many want to do based off a "few" bad apples... Do I judge all black people based off what this 28 year old man did? Of course not, he is one man, he acted alone and he doesn't represent all black people, just like how a couple bad cops here and there don't represent all cops...

This story is shameful.. These cops did not deserve to die... I can't help but feel horrible for their families, friends, and everyone they touched... I hope they can find some sort of peace around the holidays...

I really am getting sick of this country... Everything is backwards... We protest and riot over a thug getting killed, but barely anyone blinks an eye when two cops are shot dead sitting in their cars...

I feel pretty certain going around killing random cops isn't going to achieve any worthy goals. He isn't a hero and has made all the peaceful protesters hard work pretty much null and void.

I only wish the murdering coward hadn't killed himself so that these dead men's colleagues could have had the honor of putting him down themselves.

One can not go through depending on police protection. The wait will fail them.

It's the broad brush painting that has to stop - yes, in this thread too - NOT all cops are bad, NOT all whites are racist, NOT all gun owners are criminals....NOT all men are stupid....(well maybe that last one is wrong haha). These attitudes are what prevents a real discussion of the problem - and the media perpetuates them.

Two real families are grieving tonight, just like eric garner's family was - the value of life and the need to be fair has to overcome the need to be right because that's what so much of this comes down to. I'm right and you're not will never lead to peace.

Yeah I guess it would only be fair for him to also hate all white males because a majority of serial killers fit that description.

At the same time I guess it would make sense for him to believe that all muslims are bad because some engage in terrorism, or all black males because they are responsible for a large amount of violent crime...

I wonder if he is a white male, or a muslim, perhaps african american...
