Hi GOS,

This might be classed as sticking my nose in until someone answers you, but on the contact page there is a postal address. Maybe they will allow you to send a cheque/ money order that way. Just a suggestion. Hope someone gets back to you soon.

An account number would be so much better though, a money order will still need posting, and I'm not sure there is any way for me to do that anomymously in cash...and even then if the postage from UK to US is say a fiver, that's another fiver which could be donated instead.
Yes there are % charges with international transfers, but walking to my local money transfer agent in town and handing over a bunch of anonymous notes is my preferred method of supporting ATS.
...I imagine there are a few potential donations out there from fellow tin-foil hat wearing folk on ATS, I know if it was my site I would certainly not exclude that income stream from my options.

...would be so simple to go to a local shop and hand over some anonymous cash to do an international money transfer though. I can't see the issue, or understand why that is not an option for donations. Perhaps someone will enlighten me in this thread.

I'll kick in, but are there any advantages for paying members? Most sites give consideration and privileges for paying members. Let me be a mod and I might kick in a hundred!

Nothing as far as I can see.

There was possibly some altercation behind the scenes. It's the only thing I can think of as their posts here didn't seem worthy of the ban hammer.

Back to business, let's talk about contributing. Are there benefits for members who contribute? I like the site. I'd like to contribute. I just want to see what sort of parameters we are talking about here.

So what's the account number and bank details for those on ATS who wish to remain anonymous??

I'll do an anonymous international money transfer if the site owners message me the details, but I seriously wonder why that appears to be such an issue.

I can't answer your question directly as I am nowhere near in the know of any specifics in the accounting department - but it is a weekend and the last one before a Holiday at that. Be patient and I imagine one of the owners will reply to you when they get a chance.
