Hi SkepticOverlord sad to hear that the costs of these attacks could bring ATS into trouble .And I don't want to see this great website gone. want to donate but I don't use credit cards or PayPal . I used to use PayPal but since they ask for credit card numbers I'd stop using it.

Now is there some bank account number where I can donate my contribution to ATS .

If so can I find it somewhere here ?

I don't participate much in this forum, but i frequent this site at least once a day ever since i joined here. There are some really intriguing threads show up here, and I want to see this forum keep going. I send in my contribution via paypal.

Done and done, with a hopefully bigger contribution on the way in the next few days (incoming payments willing...)

This site has given me personally a chance to share my writings and artwork, and bonded many friendships across the world, all for free. The least we can do as people is give back when needed the most.

I've been a staunch and bitter teetotaler since '98-- so
all I can come up with is a half jug of 70 year old Beam
in an Illinois jug that turned into horse liniment probably
half that time ago... and a few home rolled fatties with
Ohm Organic. The latter is like sucking on hot newsprint;

My donation is small considering all of the years that I have been a member of ATS, but it is the best that I can do. I hope that it will help ATS to continue.

Ok...so you know what? I have something to say if I may. I've been here some time now, not as long as many of the originals, but most certainly very far from new. I've got a few words

ATS is far and away the MOST frustratingly irritating site I have EVER been on

Know why?

Because it made me think...and reconsider. I don't like doing things like that

I am well aware that every member is important and whatnot but I have looked back at who I was and who I returned to be. Of course there was age and maturity but I enjoy ATS because it's the most challenging bunch of people I've ever met. Even IF I totally disagree, none of you have ever let me throw and run. There's always been a mostly gracious throw back and demand for wisdom, courage and of course research. I am very thankful for that and always will be.

At the end of the day this site is filled with every person from every niche possible. I have been a Mason here, an MLP fan, a therapist, a writer, a philosopher ((albeit a crappy one lol)), a liberal, a Wiccan and whatever else that is part of me. There have always been and will always be disagreements with my thoughts and agreements with them. That is precious to me because at no time has a single one of you ever let me off the hook with a simple statement and a Deal-with-it and I will forever appreciate that about this group.

But mostly, free speech is so important to me that I even believe whackos like the WBC and KKK deserve it so long as they aren't inciting violence. It's so important that although I tend to be typically non-Christian, and am LGBT, I don't EVER EVER EVER want to tell someone that they aren't allowed to tell me I am wrong.

Hell tell me what I am is a choice. I soundly and fiercely disagree....but tell me because at the end of the day, you, me, SO, Springer and even the very members here who are literally making their first post right now deserve a voice in this increasingly hostile and censored world.

I look back on my old posts and cringe pretty hard but then soften when I see my newer threads and posts and while I am certainly not a master writer, orator or researcher, I have found myself much more courageous and bold because for once I am actually backing my words with depth.

Now, I admit that ATS is most certainly not the only impetus in my own changes. I absolutely have found levels of increasing maturity and courage while cruising life in general but I would be foolish to pretend that ATS, and especially its members haven't had at least a bit of a hand in where I am now

So a few bucks to risk in attempt to save a place of free speech, challenging opportunities, and overall news and resources that MSM dare not touch?

Yeah...

I think I can handle that

Best of luck and I also will be contributing towards this cause. ATS is my home on the internet. The thought of it suffering makes my stomach turn.



Sometimes hard times clear the mind and soul and point you in new directions that can be very good.

I'd pay 10 a month for the girls in bikini's alone!

You should try to let people donate to a specific investigative campaign. It takes money to have boots on ground. I would give a bunch to an investigation into political corruption.
