As for the flag as stated earlier in this thread, it is next to impossible for extremists to get a hold of the flag of choice and so are welcomed to use any Islamic flag in its place or considered closely related.

Look, if a group is terrorizing you/your city, and people die, they will be dead whether it's ISIS, or a single jihadist, or a crazy person. Just as dead. They are a threat to the city of Sydney at the moment, and have to be removed, dead or alive, no matter who the hell they are.

And also not paying enough attention to know that in THIS INCIDENT these people are affiliated with ISIS?

Everything ive said has been on topic, it relates directly to these people in this Cafe'
Because these monsters target innocent people.........

So all this rhetoric about "big bad US" and "stop falling in line with the west" goes out the window.......

These are innocent people in this Cafe, just like those in the ME that ISIS is beheading........

it has nothing to do with anything but their psychotic extremist views and barbaric behavior......

This must be an emotional train wreck for you as you stated you do have family in Australia. It is hard to helpless to do anything so, with your Military back ground you speak your mind freely from your point of view. You will probably get your wish because Australians are warriors from way back and will not tolerate this type of injustice.

For now we keep a positive heart for the safety of the hostages and the strength of their family and loved ones.

I doubt these psychotic criminals have guns, they didn't even have their own flag, so machetes or even the friggin kitchen knives from the cafe.

he is taking breaks off air and being advised by the police commissioner as to how to handle this. he is taking his advice off the experts and rightly so.

The Queensland police commissioner has ordered every available police officer on to the streets but there is no indication there is a threat in the state.
