They shall be known for their fruits:
Galatians 2:17-20
"But if, while seeking to be justified in Christ, we ourselves have also been found sinners, is Christ then a minister of sin? May it never be! "For
if I rebuild what I have once destroyed, I prove myself to be a transgressor. For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God. I
have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.
Mathew 7:16-17
By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but
a bad tree bears bad fruit.
Grace is what came upon our heads, works is the evidence of Gods abounding grace in us.
2 Corinthians 9:8
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
the evidence of Christ in us - works - is not filthy except to those who do not know the Christ.
