By the way, I more than gladly am or would be thankfully willing to take out the trash for my wife, for my mum, and also for my sister..because it is my pleasure to favor her, it is all my pleasure..
take the trash out for her??
so it is usually her job then?...you step in every now and then to take it out as a favor to her??
thats so nice of you.....
do you give her a break from the dishes too??
in my house, whoever tosses the 'filling piece' of garbage in takes it outside.....
The comment I made about removing the litter, has to do with the following statement someone else had made. I don't remember what the guy's username is, but he said the following:
"I'm all for equality. Take out the trash and go work in some coal mines and see how well 'equality' treats you."
I don't believe equality is about taking out the garbage folks!
"Women used the disguise sometimes to make better wages at jobs reserved only for men," Jensen and Lothrop write in their book California Women, "other times for the excitement of male jobs, or to avoid harassment by men, or because they preferred to lead the life of a man."Charley Parkhurst was a stagecoach driver whose skills were well known. What was not known was that "Charley" was born Charlotte.

Throughout history women have disguised themselves as men for a variety of reasons. As for the internet, I can see why women would take on the persona of a male to avoid certain special types of abuse and harassment or societal expectations, reserved only for women.

There have also been a number of lady authors who utlized male "pen" names to avoid scrutiny..
Wasn't Georges Sand one of those authors..
“It’s like I’m getting raped every day”, said a victim/survivor of rape in Malaysia, after a new round of intimate photos of her were posted online
The paper “Voices from digital spaces: Technology related violence against women” builds primarily on evidence collected through focus group discussions, interviews, email exchange, and national consultations with the MDG3: Take Back the Tech! partners and with regional coordinators of APC WNSP between December of 2010 and May of 2011. The research provides sufficient data to map key trends and showcase that technology related VAW is on the increase and that women around the world are experiencing similar kinds of violations and harms. However, the absence of systematised data prevents us from comprehensively dealing with all manifestations and aspects of technology related VAW.

You mistake my intentions, I wasn't saying that was what you should do. I was trying to explain why men and women are trolled differently. I certainly don't suggest you become a troll lol.

Intimate photos of a Malaysian victim of sexual violence being re-posted consecutively online..that's really going too far..
I normally can't enter this type of topic without vomiting first, either literally or symbolically, but I can imagine that people would be so foul as to play games of this nature with peoples lives..all for the sake of entertainment..The vomit I mentioned reminds me of the collective Exorcism I believe needs to be conducted on society currently.. it really is shocking and devastating what is happening with technology in our world nowadays.. it makes me want to listen to Father Malachi Martin..
You're right also, that governance of the internet by appropriate balanced female/male personnel, is a must..Her voice, perspective, analysis, governance, and monitoring needs to be implemented..to create the appropriate charge, and control of these verbal, visual, internet communication arenas;

I actually used to writing editorials about gaming and you'd probably love the one I did on the subtypes of the female gamer. Most of these "subtypes" drive me totally nuts, too, so I can utterly echo the sentiment. I knew a girl who literally had a paypal account on her gaming profile with the urge to "help support her gaming". That was a "holy crap, I wanna barf" moment. To make matters worse, I think she had something going with a webcam as she made a strange comment about how she was going to go on her webcam now on a public server. I cannot even begin to describe how I felt about that other than that feeling of wanting to barf--well you could probably multiply it by the thousand.

I happen to agree, about words. I make an effort to choose the words I use carefully. I try to stay away from more negative language, but it really is hard work. It takes a level of awareness, it's really easy to slip back into autopilot, if that makes sense.

You're wrong on all counts here. Neither of these were as you think. I know you mean well but you need the details that I'm loathe to put on a public forum. If you want those details, U2U me as I do understand the interest in aberrant criminal behavior. Since you haven't, please stop trying to publicly comment on something that you really don't understand. Since you like movies, watch 12 Hour Photo as Robin Williams was both amazing in it and was precisely the kind of individual that the first definitely was and the second probably was.
Thank you.

I'd love if that were the case but her other statements and behaviors belied otherwise. I did, however, go easy on her and became her friend. She doesn't do these things anymore and actually gets pretty upset herself when she sees these behaviors in others in the gaming world these days. She calls me "mom" a lot. What I saw was someone who had some difficulties with self worth. She needed a mom and that's what I gave her right along with heaps of love. So no worries. I didn't attack her for it. Instead, I actually saw her and fulfilled a need. Still do even years later.
You'd be amazed at how many gamers call me "mom". A lot of kids need one apparently and I know what it's like to not have the parent you need. I'm more than happy to make sure that they have somebody in their life to turn to for support and I'm very proud of all of my kids, both the biological ones and the ones online.
