Putin: USA 'shaped the world' according to its interests

Vladimir Putin lashed out of the United States for destabilizing the world order of checks and balances for its own gains.

Speaking in the city of Sochi, he said that, “the system of international relations needed some changes, but the USA, who believe they were the winners of the Cold War have not seen the need for this.” The Russian President added that Washington has been trying to create the world “for their own gains.”

Putin also hit out at the West for, “closing their eyes to the encroachment of international terrorism in Russia and countries in central Asia. He says the United States has been guilty of sponsoring extremist groups.

“I am not tired of being astounded how our partners have been guilty of making the same mistakes time and again. They have in the past sponsored Islamic extremists who were battling against the Soviet Union, which took place in Afghanistan. It was because of this the Taliban and Al-Qaeda was created,” the Russian President added.

He also touched upon the fight against ISIS. He criticized those who buy oil from terrorists thus contributing to their funds.

Putin also hit out at the numerous sanctions imposed on Russia by the US and the West saying this was a mistake which has a knock-on effect on everyone.

“The USA, which has implemented sanctions against Russia, is cutting down the branches, upon which they are sitting,” he said.

Putin put the blame on the US for the destruction of the system of talks about the reduction and control of weapons. He said that many countries don't see any other choice at the moment to preserve its sovereignty but "to make a nuclear bomb."

Russia has been all for the continuation of talks about the reduction of nuclear arsenals and according to President Putin, Moscow is ready for serious talks, but without “double standards".

Finally he calls it like it is!

I'll be posting updates.

Unlike Russia itself, who of course only ever acts out of an altruistic desire to see all other nations thrive and advance their own goals, even when it's to Russia's detriment.

Yes, but surely they've been guilty of the same, as well, and had a hand in creating al quaeda, et al as they were in Afghanistan, first. He has never forgiven USA for not supporting them in Afghanistan. Sadly, it's the same rhetoric on the world stage, nothing new. And, it's still about oil and poppies….

Putin is hardcore. pity some of his views i just can't get behind.
But it feels lots like the amazing speech gaddafi gave a while back.
If putin continues gaddafi's work in that sense, he has my support. time to call out some BS!

Remembering of course it was the Soviet Empire in Afghanistan, not "Putin". How could Putin "not forgive us" for bringing him to power in a round about way?

Talk about stating the obvious. Though the same could be said for Russia. What's next? Is Putin going to come out and tell us that the two party system in the US is a sham?

I can't entirely disagree with him. That being said, if the tables were turned, he and his ilk would more than likely do the very same thing.

He's trying to call it in a way that simply attempts to make him and his agenda look good, just like any other crooked politician in power East or West, makes no difference.

As if the Soviets didn't have any nefarious interests in invading Afghanistan in the first place. News flash Putin the Soviet Union is делается [Done]

I'd have thought that as man who lost his job as a KGB agent when the Soviet Union went belly up of all people would have figured out by now that when the old Cold War ended that he wasn't on a 'Winning side'

Might as well be posting from FOX, CNN, BBC or PressTV

I'm not impressed, They're all agenda driven and suck.

Oh Really?

When did Russia shape the world according to its interests? When did they fund ISIS, the Taliban, Al-Qaeda etc.? Or bring 'Democracy' to countries rich in oil and other various natural resources?

I see their fear mongering got to you badly.

Shape it according to is interests of the US people?

Certainly not.

Shaped it to the interests of the Bankers, oil, Pharma and Defence corporations then certainly YES! UK and the EU also dance to that very same tune too!

Exclusivity of American Hegemony got its big push when laws passed that resulted in oil prices being quoted exclusively in US dollars.

Since the agreements of 1971 and 1973, OPEC oil is exclusively quoted in US dollars. This created a permanent demand for dollars on the international exchange markets

Petro Currency

Qadaffi wanted to trade oil for gold. We saw where that led.

Iran and Venezuela want to use other currencies like the EU as well. Guess why the US is ever at their throats?

As of 2005, OPEC continues to trade in US Dollars, but some OPEC members (such as Iran and Venezuela) have been pushing for a switch to the euro.

I wish they would actually focus on media and ways to wake everyone up to US sponsored Islamic Extremism, and they horrific way the world is run, and focus on disclosure, bringing out clean energy solutions and equality in a freedom and abundance system.

just like any other crooked politician in power East or West, makes no difference.

Is that why the UN Security Council denied the US (NATO) mandate to "Humanize" Syria three times??

You're right, doesn't matter, US just steam rolled over the UN and began bombing Syria anyway. Now tell everyone that Assad invited US in, or the US led Coalition makes it right or in fact Russia is helping…

Putin nailed it.
Comparing the record since the wall fell, draws a dark picture.

2 Gulf wars against Iraq. Both wars based on lies, and deception. Its all fact now.
First Gulf war deception - Youtube video

We all know that Iraq was not behind 9/11, and neither had WMD... lies lies lies.

The Afghanistan "war" ? What a joke - its obvious its to secure poppy fields.

Then there is all the other stuff like Syria, Egypt, Libya ... and there are probably many others i have forgot, or are still in covert progress..

The latest Ukranian crises.. or can we split that with Russia?

I think its rather clear, Putin naled it.

The Ukrainian conflict doesn't ring a bell? Just because it isn't as pervasive, doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. ALL countries try to shape the world to their benefit. It's just how it works.

PNAC's Rebuilding Americas Defenses Paper laid out the whole program for a future of ceaseless military expansion, and the corporate imperialism we see today.
I look at it all the time in the context of the last 15 years' events, and the present. It reads as a playbook for what is happening.
US Government has been usurped by global corporates and bankers. They are using the United States military as their strong arm to violently enforce their economic dominance wherever deemed necessary.
This dynamic is what Putin is pointing out.
All the while, America is driven ever more deeply into irreconcilable debt, and its citizens always further subjected to intensive government scrutiny. The Constitution is being dismantled before our eyes.

As the US military moves across the world, terrorism is sponsored, Sovereign nations are destroyed; even World leaders are killed beyond all international protocol!

But read it, read it. Look into the members of the Project for the New American Century, their interests perfectly representative of the Global Cabal.

Rebuilding Americas Defenses describes the theaters around the world in which the US military is to act post Cold War, and it is basically a huge, (close) perimeter around Russia and China.
The Balkans region is detailed, and we see this part of the plan being enacted today.

Southeast Asia is very important to the agenda. We shall see major US Military movement there next, if the Globalists continue with the course of action Putin refers to.

The AK47 is the symbol of exported military might the world over, shaped quite a few things in this here world.
Check out Iran's arsenal. Oh what was it that Russia had to take back out of Syria.....those pesky chemical weapons nah they don't mean anything lol. Castro did it all by himself too I would hazard a guess if RT standards apply. Invading Afghanistan was a peaceful gesture I suppose and the consequences are all on the West for defending them and causing Taliban and Al Qaeda to flourish.
