I think they have more pressing issues right now rather than wasting their time on the internet. You know, like trying to stay alive?

What people seem to forget is these dictators keep the crazy barbaric people of their countries on a leash. Removing them from power causes more problem between the citizens ..
I or no one else knows the true scale of what's happening in the middle east, I can only see the removal of Assad In Syria as another dangerous mistake which western nations so greatly want..
These medieval minded people need dictators to rule just like certain countries had kings which dictated..

gaddafi tried to fake the apocalypse and failed. his power was not his own. he did things in the dark that he was ashamed of. he found no problem in attempting to destroy the family of another man. he disliked rap music.

he failed. and so will all the rest that follow him.

What did he say before that election?

I would prefer newspapers without a government to a government without newspapers

Indeed he did and but see how the crime and wars was dropped(besides nato) when he was in power. See how Libya was before Gaddafi. It's the same as it is now, a battlefield for numerous tribes fighting for power.

Gaddafi predicted that if he was to be killed or stepped down the country would fall to ruin because of the massive power vacuum he left to the many tribes in the region.
Which he was correct and that's exactly what we see today after he was killed

He was paying people off, paying for stability. This was no dictatorial utopia.

When you say he paid people off indeed he did. He paid off the Libyan people. In western countries money is a sort a freedom. The more money you had the more freedoms you could enjoy. Gaddafi knew this as it was laid out in his green book.
He paid the people to give them freedoms an African country or women for that matter had never seen. The litteracy rate was higher than that of the US during Gaddafis rule.

So he is gone and the place falls apart. Not a good sign for a nation so literate. And were did all this hate come from, discontent ect before he was gone? Why didn't these grateful and educated folks rise up and protect the dude during his hour of need?

Literacy doesn't mean that you are benevolent and good. All that means is that the people in charge are potentially well-read assholes, but they would still be an assholes nonetheless.

The literacy rate was not higher...the highest Libya ever was was 95%. USA is 99%. He also did not pay the Libyan people. You do know he had BILLIONS of dollars hidden in accounts and cash all over the world right? He had siphoned almost 80 billion dollars away from Libyan people. You are ignorant.
