I have been talking with people over the last 13 years about this subject. What I have nearly always found is that the greatest number of people just believe the Official story....

I have come to the conclusion that it is not because they lack the intelligence to see the evidence and understand it's meaning, it's because if they were to believe anything other than the official story, their neat and safe world view would come crashing down.

People want to feel wrapped in that blanket and the moment you attempt to take it away, they get defensive and hold on even tighter and in some cases aggressively so.

It doesn't really matter, there are enough of us that know the official story is a fairy tail to carry the baton through the many generations to come.

The only way to quash the truth, is to kill all those that know it... and there are far too many of us to be able to do that.

For me I've always been one to question everything! As many of those that Question things are the
Same way! I don't know what happened on 9/11/01 and I no longer care to know exactly what happened.
I for one will never believe their official story, that has been portrayed by the corporate media! I doubt much
of what is spouted out by the mouth piece of the Federal government! As anyone with any intelligence should.

Focusing purely on cognitive dissonance, the actual truth behind any major world event, be it 9/11, the Kennedy assassination or the death of Princess Diana (or any other for that matter), is actually largely irrelevant.

Of course, truth is tremendously important from a real world standpoint, but not necessarily when we are simply discussing people's perception of events. After all, truth and fact are two different things sometimes.

Like it or not, the way in which the general public perceive the world around them is largely blinkered at best.

For example, to take an issue less contested than 9/11 for a moment, we all know global poverty is a monumental issue, but thousands upon thousands die from preventable causes every single day, and yet on the grand scheme of things, most people don't care. Sure, we give money to charity every so often, but it doesn't keep us awake at night.

Equally, a plane, satellite or asteroid could, theoretically speaking, drop on our heads at any moment. We could catch a deadly disease by simply being the wrong place at the wrong time - we just don't think about it.

In that sense, cognitive dissonance is actually a fairly normal and widespread aspect of our daily lives. Debatably, society would collapse without it as we'd all be so worried about everything our survival instincts would kick into gear, so it's perhaps not a bad thing in that regard.

However, most people's predisposition to believe what they're told does mean that people in positions of power can take advantage of them on occasion, should they choose to do so.

Whether this happened on 9/11 is a hotly contested issue, and one which I am not certain of myself, I just thought it was worth expanding a bit on the way the majority of people see the world. Cognitive dissonance is a lot more common than some may assume

Please show me exactly where someone conducted a metallurgical assessment that showed it was molten steel and not molten aluminum. Then, it brings us back to the statement that the structural steel did not have to melt, it just had to soften, which it does at a temp well within that of a jet fuel fire.

come on man, you seriously think all of that molten metal that was dripping and pooling everywhere was aluminium from the jet/jets. that is what you are saying.

Some of it was probably lead.... there is zero evidence for molten steel.

It is simply impossible for a hydrocarbon and office furnishings fire burning in air to melt steel, it just doesn't happen. Yet SOMETHING caused large quantities of molten iron and/or steel to accumulate in the basements of all three WTC buildings that collapsed to the ground and apparently some steel was even VAPORIZED that day.

There is lot's of evidence. You just have to look for it as it won't drop in your lap like the Official Fairy Story crap!

The melted steel in the basements has been documented in videos and photos of glowing red and orange debris dripping molten metal as it is scooped out of pooled molten material below. In some cases this was MANY WEEKS after 9/11 and MANY WEEKS after constant soaking with firehoses, THIS WAS NOT JUST A JET FUEL AND OFFICE FURNISHINGS FIRE as supporters of the official conspiracy theory would like you to believe.

If you knew anything at all about molten steel and excavators you would know you cannot pick molten steel with one....
