Anjem Choudary is a distasteful character and hope he faces the consequences of his actions if he’s found to have “crossed the line”.
What I find distasteful is the responses on this thread that he should be hung, raped and mistreated.
Thankfully, the UK judicial system will ignore all the blood-thirsty ranting of people who want to circumvent civilized legal process. I find it hard to stomach the hypocrisy of people who cry about Choudary’s revolting views, while extolling those views themselves.
Regards

Anjem Choudary is a disgrace to humanity.
So too are the interet rambos who have to come here and dribble all over each others torture porn.
Your words are no less shocking than his. This guy has been arrested for making death threats.

Your words are no less shocking than his. This guy has been arrested for making death threats. Your only response is to make some back. Sorry, but you are morons. We need a seperate planet for you all, where you can throw sticks or stones or your own feces at each other, and where the rest of us don't have to get splattered by your primitive chest thumping.

Seems you don't understand the difference between a nutter calling for millions of innocents to be MURDERED, vs. people hoping that such nutter gets killed, after he has inspired GENOCIDE!!

Now, what do you suggest they should do with this fine example of humanity that doesn't help create an even greater threat by some how making him a martyr?

The media cannot help but propagandise extremists like Choudary. 'Most dangerous' should be for the courts to decide and the evidence needs to be secure too. People need to be careful...
Hopefully we have learned from the mistakes and screw-ups surrounding the failed prosecutions of Abu Qatada. The guy was constantly stirring hatred amongst Muslims, but we used evidence from 'renditions' that was inadmissible and the charges were dismissed. He's just been cleared in Jordan on lack of evidence too - a free man.
If we're to convict Choudary, the evidence will have to be legally acquired and satisfy a judge and jury. Otherwise, we're left, like Qatada, with an asshole inciting hatred against the UK from inside the UK. A lot of people do the same thing here on ATS and we have to define the difference between anti-Government rhetoric/bile and that of genuine political activism and treason.

Cut that bastard into pieces and let pigs eat the pieces .. televise that publicly ..
Then round up all his followers and execute them immediately ..they are a disease and they are spreading because of our inaction ..
I have NO IDEA why the British govt allows such terrorists to roam around for so long in UK ..
