Maybe they mean those two and a pilot. Was he piloting it himself?

Says there was three total on board now. Pilot, plus two.

It does seem to be happening an awful lot lately. All the recent plane crashes.....what are we averaging close to 2 crashes a week now?? A bit much I think.....

It would make sense that a CEO would just buy a new plane if it was getting to the point where it may need repairs. I remember reading on another thread that the Pilot-static systems in many commercial and private airlines are just about expired, leading to ice in the sensor tubes.

Have you seen how many flights a day there are in the US alone? Adding in general aviation, there are 5,000 fights a minute over the US alone. Two a week is an amazingly safe record.

Gotta go to class now, hopefully I return to find good news later tonight... though it does look realistically grim.

Praying for the family and all involved.

No, I don't even understand that meaning. It must take a Troll like yourself to Know the Characteristics of "Trolling" when a stoned alien sees' one.

Acidents happen. Now the media will start by announcing the names, then who to blame. distracting us from real issues in the U.S. and across the world. Just sayin'

Read below your thread....

Thousands of people are starving and dying daily of hunger....but hey, lets gives these guys some well deserved media attention. right?
3 well off "offed" citizens deserve more attention than starving children across the world.
Sorry if i seem insensitive....

Apparently only two on board:

Larry Glazer's family has confirmed that Larry and his wife Jane have died in the plane crash. No one else was on board.

Rochester News Twitter

How can their family confirm that they're dead though? They can confirm that they were on the plane... aside from that, no one can confirm anything until the flight recorder and/or bodies are found.

Yes that's true, I think I seen over 9,000 + planes in the air while on that flight tracker. Msm probably just giving the planes more attention now after the latest horrific crash.....sad....just a sad way to go. I would wish for a miracle & hope they survived, but.......

Still don't see a good reason to mock the death of another human.

It depends. All aircraft, including military are changing to a self broadcasting transponder, called ADS-B. It broadcasts to other planes equipped with it as well as ATC, and doesn't require a signal to send the data. That is how these websites track them. All new aircraft and most commercial aircraft already have them.

Some military planes have already changed, and you can see them. They're usually changing as they go through depot level maintenance. Being military they also have the ability to turn the broadcast off. So if they have the new transponder, and if they're broadcasting you'll see them. Otherwise, no.

Thankyou for the information and responding

Wondering if the CEO was taking his family for a last vacation before the fall/winter season.

Considering he just bought a new plane and this was not it, he doesn't seem to be hurting for money, so he may even own a second home down there, and that may be why he has so many hours, flying back and forth for short vacay junkets with his family.

Hoping that doesn't include a child.

Fox is now reporting a pilot, presumeably a military pilot, was able to ser through a window, and to observe the pilot slumped over in the seat.

In a crash like this there is a good chance the plane went into a spiraling descent. That would look like they turned around on the data.
